Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.
If you ask this Buddhist, I should say it is “not real” because nothing is real.
That said, it is real for me because I see the difference in simple things like blood pressure and compliments. I also think our faces look more feminine when we find contentment. I eat better in fem. I’m not afraid to do what it takes to make my legs and feet pretty...and healthy.
People like me when I feel pretty. How many times have many of us thought of ourselves as a lady singing I Feel Pretty...and witty and sly...Is it real? It is for me.
