Last night while shopping at Target, I saw this very pretty 30 something year old man with long blonde curly hair pulled back in a bun his beard neatly trimmed. He had full eye makeup, and eyebrows shaped very feminine. He was wearing 4 inch heel boots, black spandex leggings and a long silver women’s top.He was also carrying a large black shiny purse. It was great to see no harassed him or said anything to him. I never made eye contact with him, but did make eye contact with the GG he was with. I gave her an approving nod and she broke out with the biggest smile on her face. It was very cool to see that no one reacted to guy. I hope I didn’t stare to long, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off of him. My wife who I was with had to notice but she never said a word.

well you reacted to him, unless he was inappropriately dressed why would he be harassed. I have yet to be chased with torches and pitchforks. Just be careful and "OWN IT".

Yes Jennifer, I would have like to have complemented this gorgeous person but I was with my wife. This person was very well put together. I guess I don’t open my eyes enough when I’m out to notice other CD’s like myself. It was so encouraging for me to see.

Denise, that is about all you can do when you are surprised at a situation, I have also got smiles back from female escorts.

Then I do exchange smiles with about every female I make eye contact with.

In my experience, T's out alone get more static. I think when accompanied by a partner folks r more conciderate and respectful.

Denise don't you just admire people like this that have the self confidence to dress and go public just like they want to. Same for his girl friend to be O.K. with him dressing and being in public with him. Wonder if she liked him as a feminine male rather than a male male? Wish all MtF would do this, maybe then we would be better accepted to dress fem and wear a bra with forms and it be just another way to dress, no big deal.

You said very pretty and long blond hair; how would he have looked with out the beard and presenting as a woman. Passable I hope and pretty. Maybe using the razor he could enjoy being a woman, a girlfriend to his girlfriend, the fun of dressing all out in girl clothes, acting (mannerisms) and presenting as a woman.


I know you said you were with your wife BUT if there had been any way you could have spoken to both of them, complimented him and let him know you were a CD would have been so nice for all three of you.

That's very true! A couple months ago, I went to a movie wearing a skirt and glossy nylons (but otherwise in normal male attire). I noticed more than a few strange glances and even a couple snickers. Last week, I went all over town wearing a long skirt and girlie sandals (showing off my purty new pedi) with a GG friend. I didn't notice any strange looks or giggles, even when we were trying on skirts at a thrift shop surrounded by "normal" folk.

Deebra, to answer your question yes I do admire any CD’s who have the courage to go out dressed as a woman. I think if he would shave his beard he would have made a beautiful passable woman, but he look hot with the beard and maybe his GG friend wanted him that way. It would have been great to have conversations with them and praise him for his courage.

I often compliment people I see in public who're well dressed. Especially if they've done something unusual, such as a quirky hairstyle or fashion combo.

It's obvious that they've put in a lot of effort, so when I see it and I think it looks great, I let them know.
