Do I want her or want to dress like her?

    A random thought,

Saw a really good looking lady working in a hotel recently.
I couldnt decide if I wanted her or wanted to dress like her.
Then decided I wanted her while I was dressed like her.

    Decisions....

If you did what you want, would you both be wearing the same outfit at the same time?

Would just be happy dressed in that situation.

    KymG,
What a choice to have to make , I'm usually happy in my own outfits so I may be thinking more about the lady .

Yes, Yes and YES. I think one of the reasons I dress is to emulate that which I admire. But to be dressed and to be with a woman is one of my enduring fantasies.

My interest in women is purely visual. So I'll just take the dress

Good question and ive thought about this a lot. Ive realised that i look at women in a way of being envious of their look. Ok they are attractive but thats how i want to be. A relationship 99 per cent of the time with that attractive woman would never happen but taking tips from her look is very realistic.

We all have our fantasies don't we?

I KNOW I'm not getting the woman. But, if I want to, I CAN imitate her look!

And, have countless times. For example, here's a look I saw in an airport years ago that struck me!

U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!

    Interesting thought.
More interested in guys but I would not want to dress like them even if I did like what they were wearing.

I tend to disregard what she has on and want sex from them if I find them attractive. That goes for men too. I'm not interested in relationships.

Interesting question and one which I have been prompted to ask myself recently. There was a time when I would seldom pass up an opportunity with a comely female, but there was often also something quite different going on when observing adult females. It was neither sexual nor about their clothes.

I want the girl first. Getting her while looking like her would be a plus but not a hard decision.

What I really like is seeing the woman I'd like to look like with the man I like to be with...

I guess I'd have to say that I want her ...(drum roll please)... body.
Then I could wear what she's wearing without looking ridiculous.

It usually goes something like this in my head: "She looks great in that <whatever it is>. I wish I could look like that."

would probably want to dress like her, but again might fantasies being one .
Wanting something is a fantasy which on a long time period clouds your mind and makes you think you need it.

If i see a woman wearing something that looks great my feeling is "i wish i could wear something like that and look that good in it."

I would want to dress like her. Today I am wearing a pink skirt and a grey top, because recently I saw a girl wearing a pink skirt and a grey top, and I thought, that'd be nice to wear. I wasn't wrong.

It was that very dilemma which convinced me that I wasn't gay way back when I was 14. Took me another two decades or so to figure out the rest.

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.
