Yes, when I was very young (I began at about age 5 or 6) I most certainly wished to emulate my mother. She was beautiful, feminine and was everything I could ever hope to be as a woman.
Now that I am older I no longer emulate her although I do take certain cues from her to this day. I am my own person, I dress to make myself happy and not others.
