With Thanksgiving being a short work week, they're trying to cram five days of work out of us in three days. Was VERY short handed to boot, and came home a tired wreck yesterday.
Anyone who's read a couple of my threads know I like to be dolled up when I'm off for when my wife comes home, but last night I dragged myself in the door and she had a wonderful dinner ready (she's the much, better cook than I am!)
Well, all I could manage was to slip out of my man costume and into a comfy old skirt and top. Too tired for forms, and let me tell you, for me, THAT is tired.
I told herself that she'd just have to put up with her wife (me) not looking so pretty tonight. She said I am always pretty to her. Then she took a clip on hair rose and placed it in my hair 'just so'.
She sure has a way of making me smile.
