The other day I found myself thinking about the eventual end of my life. Not depressed or macabre, more along the line of estate planning. And I was wondering if I would want to be buried in panties, a dress, etc? Should my preference be documented?
Anyone ever thought about that?
My wife and I already decided on creamation.

Yes, at my age I have and do. As far as my funeral details? Since I won't know or care, I'll leave them up to my kids.
I was thinking of leaving a demand for a fun, wake party in my will. But, since I won't know or care, they could just spend the money on booze and a tropical vacation!
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.
Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!
I see no reason to put my family thru possible embarrassment.
If my family want me in male underwear they will have to buy it. There is none in my wardrobe.

Don't care what they do with my body when I'm done with it. Hope they save the funeral expenses and donate it to give the medical students a good laugh
If they MUST have a funeral and put my corpse on display, I don't care how they dress it, they'd be the ones to have to explain it!

We're going to be cremated and many years ago we bought our urns from a potter in a very remote part of Co. Mayo way out in the west if Ireland. Our wishes are contained within the urns and yes, I will be dressed when I go
I sometimes think of being in an accident dressed and what would happen.
Being dead I dont want my family to hurt... So no panties in the casket

There was a show on TV years ago with Howie Mandel where he ran an off beat funeral parlor. Yup, the first episode had a cross dresser in full dress and everybody was trying to explain or understand.

I don't really understand what it is about what to do with the body after death. Depending on what you believe you will either be somewhere else, or totally cease to exist. Either way you aren't there (in the body) anymore. And if your spirit is else where it probably won't matter what happened to your body. Please, no one be offended, this just my thoughts on the subject and I know many feel different and that's OK, I accept that. Sherrii

If you have wishes then you absolutely should write them down and make sure that those who are likely to be true ones carrying them out are aware of them and understand them. (_any_ wishes, not just your choice of underwear)

Whether I am buck naked, in a skirt, or a suit...dead is dead. Funerals are not for the dead, but for the living, it is a chance to greave, visit family, and reflect on the dead persons life. I would prefer to do what ever is best for those who are alive and think of what is important to them.
I like myself, regardless of the packaging that I may come in! It's what is on the inside of the package that counts!
My wife is under strict instruction that when I shuffle off, she is to roll my corpse up in the rug (no, not the nice rug) and dump me in the dumpster behind the 7-Eleven. If anyone wants to put me in male underwear then they'll first have to buy some, then remove the panties from my cadaver and redress me. I won't be around to worry about it.
When I'm gone, for all I will know or care, they can toss me naked into a ditch by the side of the road and let the coyotes and vultures have their way with me.
