    We are lucky!

My sister is going though a divorce and some health issues, she is stressed and has had trouble finding a happy place. We were talking yesterday and I told her when I am stressed an hour of dressing is the most relaxing thing I could do. I asked her if she had anything that will make more relaxed or happy. She said she has nothing like that.
I know some days CD'ing is a burden, but it can be the best thing for you. I know most people don't have anything fall back on.
    WE ARE LUCKY!!!

Sara,I agree with you. I believe being able to dress every day makes me a better caregiver, as well.

Yes we are! But everyone should be able to find their escape, or their center, or their 'thing' that relaxes them. She may be too stressed to remember, but you've known your sister a long time … what relaxes her?

I too agree...I'm so much a better person and far less stressed when I express my feminine side...my wife noticed that before I did. It's one of the main reasons that she allows me to dress up. The GD however can be a real bear! I hope your sister can find something that she'll find relaxing. There's so many different things to choose from...yoga, stretching, going on long walks, painting, knitting, pottery making, playing an instrument, reading a good book, etc, etc

I agree with you, Sarah. Crossdressing is a gift, even though it has the potential to make life complicated.

Let them, if they have the ovaries.

Not only am I way happier when I’m dressed, people around me, especially women, seem more at ease as well. It’s the men who are terrified.

I don’t feel particularly lucky. I am grateful to have gotten through some difficult situations of my own creation, no thanks to my gender identity.
