We have been celebrating V Day for the last few years at home. I usually fix a steak supper with cocktails before wine during and cocktails after. Rule no. 1 -
This is the only day of the year flowers are not allowed. The price gouging florists have done that. We have always ended up playing our favorite songs and having hot sex. It's a fun time for us both.
Went out last night as planned. We had a lovely dinner, excellent wine and lovely conversation. The only problem was that I had to take off my bra and forms as I dressed for the night
Excuse me for being sentimental for a moment,Other than exchanging cards my wife and I don't really bother with Valentine's day,we share hugs and kisses every day,and always tell each other we love one another anyway.So it's no different for us than any other day

My daughter, who I share a place with, was out of town on Valentine's Day and she texted me to check in a cupboard in the kitchen for a surprise she left for me. At the time, I was feeling down and when I checked in the cupboard, I found a beautiful Valentine, where she expressed her love for me and candy! It really made my day, she is such a sweetheart and I'm so fortunate to have such a caring and loving daughter!
