Yesterday I had my nails done. I do this every 3 to 4 weeks as I wear gel nails which need to be filled. As I was sitting at the dryer Helen (who has been doing my nails for over 10 years) leaned close to me and wished me a Happy Mother's Day!

Last night, as I was paying for a haircut at the salon I have going to for about 3 years, I wished my stylist and the reception a Happy Mother's Day. They simultaneously wished me the same. It gave me a smile.
Mothers Day was the 31st March!

Abbie, I have a couple of calendars that list holidays/special days around the world. Yup, Mothering Sunday in the UK was March 31.
Here, across the big pond, Mother's Day is always the second Sunday of May.

Yeah my wife used to extort two gifts out of my stepdaughter when they both moved from the States to live with me. Hehe.
