    Going on hiatus

Putting my alter ego on hiatus for a while. The wife got a new teaching gig in a remote village in Alaska and is there and waiting for me to sell the house and get our affairs in order. Not exactly an ideal place for crossdressing, so Gerri will go away for the foreseeable future, no big deal, it's really just a hobby one night a week. I'm keeping the panties.
Well North To Alaska by October.

And pantyhose and tights, they're warm.

    Peace and Love Gerri

Good luck, Gerri!! That's a big change in geography and many times such a change is good to gain balance and perspective. It sounds like you are embracing it. As Kelly said, maybe a chance to appreciate tights and soft and warm sweaters.

    Be well.

U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

Good luck Alaska is a barren but beautiful place.
Housing is extremely expensive from what I hear.Cost of food is really high too.
I have friends that moved to Fairbanks and the food costs were double what they were here in Ky

Gerri, you’re a Saint. If I were you I might very well have said to her, ”good luck with that . . . . , I’ll keep the home fires burning here in SC.”

I don't know if you should pack everything up for the long winter nights. According to the information on Wikipedia "the Alaska Native have a long tradition of cross-dressing practices. The Aleut people recognize people born as male, but, who act, dress and behave as female referred to as ayagigux (literally man transformed into woman." Anyway, have a good time.

Hun, keep more than the panties and hose! Purge out of date stuff, ill fitting stuff, and stuff that you just don't wear. But keep the rest!
Too much mascara is almost enough.

Honestly, Gerri, I can’t think of a better place to enjoy the freedom of expression than Alaska. Keep your options open, and if you want, expand your horizons a bit. The horizons are enormous in AK

The village where my wife is teaching has 200 residents, all Native, she will have about maybe 20 students, and she will be supporting us, so I do not want to jeopardize that. I will be quitting my job and only have a small pension. I will not be crossdressing on the tundra, it's not really a big deal. I am not trans just a fetish/hobby crossdresser, I enjoy it and it makes me feel sexy but it is NOT all I am. Maybe it's just a phase. Anyway I will NOT be purging, I spent too much money, everything is going into storage. We will be coming back for the summer.

Oh well, enjoy the challenge and adventure of it all. Hey, they do got the interweb up there. You just have to make a pyramid hat out of aluminum foil and then stand in the middle of a....................
I've waited so long for this time. Makeup is so frustrating. Shaking hands and I look so old. This was a mistake.
My new maid's outfit is cute. Sure fits tight.
And then I step into the bedroom and in the mirror, I see a beautiful woman looking back at me.
    Smile, Honey! You look fabulous!

Alaska has great summers, lots of daylight almost too much. They also have internet so you can stay in touch. Ho, remember don't eat the yellow snow! Take care, Brenda
