I've bounced back and forth from one on-line venue to another but keep returning here. I like the support, the focus, the absence of anger and politics and the lack of memes.

Cd.com opened a door to people and a life style that changed my entire direct and purpose in life!
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!

Without CD.com I do not think I would be part of this mortal earth; I have been brought back from the brink a couple of times now and cannot think of a better place to be where kindness, help, sympathy and support are freely given with meaning too not just platitudes to sooth oneself but thins meant with honesty and truth.
This is my little haven of peace and contentment amongst well meaning friends.

This wonderful forum has been a God send to me in so many ways that I could never recount all of them. But, here are a few: I met my mentor, learned that I could be out and in femme without the world collapsing, met new girl friends in person with whom I've dined and wined, have had my nails done and polished, in femme, in a salon, that I could fully underdress when in drab, two trips in full girl mode to Viva Las Vegas, shopped en femme and learned that Just owning it is all that it takes, and that my sisters here are fantastic people! This forum was my way out of my closet.

What I really like about this site is the intelligent dialogue among the users. Responses for the most part are thoughtfully expressed in a non judgemental manner. That is a blessing to those of use searching for answers. No, not all of the answers are to our liking; but the ability to see multiple perspectives on the issues allows is very helpful.

This is an interesting and informative place to come to. Learned a bit about myself while sorta' living vicariously through others.

At least I know I'm not the only one that feels more comfortable in a bra and panty than in a t-shirt and tightie whities.

Only thing I haven't found here, except for my absolute perfect bra, is a general and rolling thread. Just one for the one or two line sentences, or statements, and NOT have to start a thread for it. IF there is a thread like that, please point me in that direction.

Me too! The group has changed over the years, but in many respects, I think its better now than ever. Lots of smart, insightful people.

Well, being pretty much brand new to this site, I can say that it's very nice to have a place to bounce ideas off of people and get honest replies. Other sites (not named to protect the quilty) have given me the feel that its all fetish-oriented and sexualized, and not part of a natural, normal life. OK-Insert the usual disclaimers here about All sites not being fetishized and noooo-I didn't mean to intimate that this or that or X or Y is Not a normal part of life...you get it, right? I have a tough skin, but moisturizers help with that. I hope I've not offended anyone. Anyway, I really like the real life answers and answers from the heart that I've seen so far.

This forum has really kept me from losing what little sanity I have and has helped me gain the confidence to come out to my wife. I so enjoy reading about everyone's experiences and sharing some of my own.

I agree being a long time reader and member that the website has changed over time. What I like to point out is a lot more positive stories from our membership. The girls are going out, interacting with people and discovering a lot of positive responses from the public. These reports about having great first outings encourages members who were sitting on the fence about going out to actually make it happen. The more we are in the public eye the greater positive image we create for out group.

I am glad this forum is here for all who have this compulsion to dress in clothing designed for women. Whether is is a struggle, or joy, or whatever, it is a sage place to share, when there is no other safe place.

In the 2 1/2 years since i joined this wonderful forum it has made a huge difference to my life. (My wife commented recently on how much happier i seem now.)
The kindness here is wonderful and the advice is invaluable. Having failed to find a support group in my area, i have still not actually met any other CDers, so this forum is a great source of support.
The forum has helped me realise that i am not alone and given me a massive boost to my confidence, which has helped me to put a toe or two out of the closet.
    Thanx to you all.

I agree, I am glad I found this forum. Even though I don't post much, it has helped deal with some crossdress related stresses.

When I'm feeling the need to vent about something I feel which is related to crossdressing, there's no place better than here.
Some causes of crossdressing you've probably never even considered: My TG biography at:http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/...=1#post1490560
There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.
