FaceApp - man to a woman transformation

Did anyone here tried out very popular FaceApp application for phones? I was surprised how good I look in that picture when I transform my male face to a woman's face. I just wish I would look that good in real life when I put on makeup and a wig. What were your results? Do you look in real life anything similar to the transformation results on the picture made by the app when you put make up on or not?

I did a lot of FaceApp photos before I started HRT and in the early stages of HRT, and a few later on just to see what I would look like after facial feminization surgery. I found it to be pretty accurate, if a little over optimistic about the quality of my skin/makeup.43586B3E-6D6A-4260-B4FB-6BD6ABCFC756.jpg 52EB88F1-D2A9-4299-A761-51394F102482.jpg1F064B66-A230-4014-967F-B611A137D95B.jpg

Never used it, never really felt the need. The photos I have seen from people who have are... generous? Optimistic?

I haven?t tried it. Why? Because no matter how much better I might appear in a doctored image, I can?t wear a face app when I look in the mirror or step out into the real world.

Don't have any apps on my phone but have used a few make up programs.
Better be a super clear detailed original pic to have the programs or apps to work properly.

I remember what I looked like when I dressed up in my sister's clothes when I was 16, before puberty destroyed my dreams. Other than the birthmark, I was pretty cute. I'd like to keep that image in my mind, instead of what I'd look like as a 60+ year old female. It's one reason I keep the mirrors in my house covered when I'm en femme.

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.

Gotta agree with Lexi - Two mental images I keep of myself. First is when I was in my teens and looking like a girl was easy and what I tried to do most of the time. Second was when I was living full time as a woman in my twenties and had the breasts to do it without anyone questioning if I was a girl or not. Outside of that, I'm just an old MIAD...although I rarely wear that either...(a dress)

I can only see myself as a woman when I'm fully dressed and ready to face the world. Phone apps won't change the way I look or the way I feel.

I used it once and it made me look wayyyyy cuter then I am in real life. When I was.... much younger I think I could pass because I had a fairly girly figure and face structure but age in my choice in career has made helped to shape my body into a more masculine/typical male frame. My career is mostly an outdoor job where I work in sun life for 10 hours at a time which is horrendous for your skin.

Also it requires a lot of physical workouts.

I tried the app. It might be a bit generous but it also gave me some hope that the current makeup skills I possess, can be improved and being quite new to this, improvement is quite welcome.
    I enjoyed it at least

Ok. So I used the SnapChat version before not the FaceApp one. The SnapChat app did a good job of exaggerating the shape of a face into a female version but it it left a lot to be desired but then again it does modify the face in real time letting to make a video of you want.

The FaceApp only works with photos but does a much better job I think at a conversion. Here is my FaceApp version. I have stated before that I?ve been very reluctant at posting my picture up showing my face but I think I would be willing this time... I have to say the FaceApp version does a much better job as it keeps your face proportions the same and don?t greatly alter your facial structure.

Actually this is what is making me want to learn how to do some beauty makeup. Which I?m trying. Going shopping this week and start seeing if I can look as good as I do in this photo!

I just looked at a photo of my older half sister and holy crap, The FaceApp photo oof me looks exactly like she did when she was my age. You would think we were twins! Guess I know which side of the family I get my good looks from!

I tried some FaceApps and found them fun but I love makeup much more.
If someone says you look great with a FaceApp they're not saying you look great!
Even know makeup is similer to a FaceApp it's you not a computer generated you!
I find it amazing how well makeup works.
I'm 62 and I wish as a man I could wear a foundation. Makes me look 10 years younger.
"This is ME" I am not CRAZY, I'm just a GUY who likes dresses!
Since allot of men dress up in woman's clothing that makes it a manly thing to do!
    Much more fun than fishing.
I do construction like house building and I love CD-ing, what's the difference?

Actually you can. I know a few guys that wear makeup for normal life. Yeah they don?t do the blush, eye shadow, mascara, ect... but they do a foundation/concealer. They always look like they have a perfect complexion becuase they do a little makeup to cover up blemishes. They are kinda vein now I think about it.... key is not to over due it I think.

When I want to change from male to female? I'm not satisfied with my looks no matter how much makeup I use!

So, I make my own "apps" that completely change my looks! And, I even wear them out in public occasionally!

Other people have another name for these apps, tho. They call them "masks"!

I tried it with a "Leslie Mary" photo and all it did was to darken my eyebrows.
Just located a drab photo and tried it. unfortunately they made bone structure changes. It was interesting. I will have them soon so I can post.

I?m happy with the FaceApp one. It makes me look cute! Works better then some of the other apps I think. I would like to think I still have a very girly face structure. I don?t have hard angles to my face. It?s more round and softer. I just have a big forehead. That?s why I like bangs!

If you use the ?gender swap? instead of just girl/woman one it works better as it also does hair and some makeup

I started a page called "FaceApp and the Hippo" where I show what "FaceApp" did with my drab photo.
