my sister said the sweetest thing

I was speaking (mostly listening) with my sister yesterday day. She told me I looked like a real woman and not like a guy in a dress. She also said going out with me dressed was more like she was going out with one of her girlfriends. I have been already flying high after our outing Monday, this was stoked that feeling. She cant wait to do it again.

For anyone out there who is afraid to get put, dress to blend get a little confidence, My sister said no one even look twice. Well except one lady at LB who did a double take when I spoke. I have always thought I could blend if I tried. A little makeup and a nice wig poof I am lady.

That has to be hugely encouraging. Hope you have many more opportunities!

Pretty awesome to get out isn't it?
Just mentioning to others that they just need to "do it" will always get you some backlash so be ready for those mean comments

That is a lovely story Sara! And definitely encouraging.

Hi, Sara. As Rhonda requested, tell us more of how you came out to your sister. Your story is bound to help a sister or two.

Sara, I just checkout your link about coming out to your sister, what a great read. Did she know about you before you told her?

My friend ask her if she knew before I told her, she said all the signs were there but I was such a manly & conservative guy it didn't really cross her mind.

What a beautiful experience. It must be a huge breakthrough and a glorious experience to be accepted by a sibling. Very touching. As an only child I have no real opportunity to experience that. But I can certainly feel and share your joy.

Because life is too short not to.

It's ironic ... I finally found a group of guys I fit in with. Funny how they all enjoy being one of the girls.

Wife: Why do you fold your panties? Me: I don't like my panties in a wad!
