    Wanting to be Fully Dressed

I'm going to a crossdressing weekend at a gay resort later this month. I've got this urge to dress completely.

Part of me tells me this whole thing is ridiculous. But the other part of me will drive me nuts if I don't give in to my urges.

I was aghast of the fact that I found the idea of having to spend the weekend completely dressed very exciting.

    Megan,

Sometimes we get thoughts in our heads for which on the face of it we see as having no reason.

Wear what you will. I does no-one harm.

Well, everyone has their reasons for doing it. I’d just advise you to be careful. There are gay and trans people who don’t take kindly to CDs, especially fetish dressers. Try to enjoy it for what it is, and don’t get too wrapped up in expectations.

    Megan,
At first they are urges that often give us a HIGH ! There are so many emotions when it's all new . Personally I would say go with those urges as long as it is safe to do so , eventually those urges can become quite normal .

At first long term dressing can be hard work , it's also when you learn to start buying the right clothes and underwear . The pleasure stops being a pleasure when you become uncomfortable .

Sounds more like a fetish thing or fantasy that you have.

First of all, that (highlighted) simile is not one I'd use in polite company. I mean... sexist much? There are plenty of cis women who never dress in the stereotypical way in which you seem to see them.

As for the weekend, if it is something you want to do, why not?

If you decide to go please give us a report as to how it went. Reading Micki's comment (#4) gives pause to how gays and lesbians would perceive a man who enjoys wearing women's clothing. Presumably couples of the same sex have already hooked up and there would be single men and women looking to hook up with a same sex partner. Does one accept or decline hooking up? If you do go you're going to have to consider declining a person's sexual advances, whether the person is a man or an interested woman.

Yes, the opportunity to be en femme 24/7 for an extended period of time is very exciting. The longest period I have had to enjoy myself has been nine days and eight nights. When I have those opportunities it is nothing less than a dress, proper undergarments, and heels and hosiery, whether inside my home or out for strolls.

Stephanie, in my experience it’s a non-issue. Gay men want other men, not men that look like women, and lesbians want women, not men dressed as women. So basically most of the passes are made by “chasers” who are basically mostly straight or bi-in-denial men who have watched too much porn.

Micki, a good friend told me decades ago a little ditty which went "One exception negates the universal quantifier!" That is, there is always the exception to the rule which negates the rule. It isn't an issue until it is an issue. If the OP is not prepared to play the part, then the OP should have an exit plan if someone gets really disappointed. Of course, if the OP is "just" a cross dresser what happens if a "chaser" also shows up? Just wondering.

There’s always a chance a plane will fall out of the sky on my head too, but I don’t walk around with a steel umbrella. “Exit strategy”? How about “no thanks”? That’s a very effective and easy to remember exit strategy.

If it's a crossdressing weekend, then there should be no worries about wearing whatever you want on your body.

However, you still have male anatomy. Please do not pretend to yourself or others that your anatomy is something other than what it is. That can lead to all sorts of serious harm.

Hope you have an enjoyable time!
