Looking for Musicians in North Carolina

I’m a bass player in Durham, NC and I think it would be SUCH a blast to put together a band of crossdressing musicians! I would love to play country honky-tonk swing, or blues, but I am open to almost any genre. How fun would this be? I stood in for a female guitar player in a all girl hair metal band back in the early 2000s.
The girls in the band knew who I was from other bands and also knew I was a CDer and asked me to fill in for a few shows.
It was fun and I enjoyed it.
There are several crossdressing bands out there so google it for more info.

It was an interesting few nights of R&R.
The drummer was always trying to lift my skirt up with her drumsticks during a song.
She did save me at the bar when a guy was hitting on me.
She walked up landed a big kiss on me and the guy said oh crap you are lesbians.
It was a huge laugh trust me.
