    noticed by girls while shopping

Hello Girls. When we were young and daring, we were also quite oblivious that some undergarments we wore could be noticed.

I'm speaking of in my early teens, I would wear under my boy clothes pastel panties, matching Panty girdle, &
matching Bra (I did buy these on my own), RHT stockings with no boy socks.

I then went out to a mall and would hope Girls would see my Garter tabs or Bra straps. It did happen on occasion.

Did this ever happen to you?

That sounds like a fetish to me. I’m not the kind of person that goes around showing my underwear to strangers in public. I prefer to keep it classy.

Yeah sounds pretty fetishy to me but if that flips your trigger its all good.
Never had a fetish over anything and don't quite understand it really.
I would rather keep it classy like Micki.

Sorry, Janice. In my short under dressing period? I underdressed so no one would know I was underdressed!

I have fetishes, but that's not one of them!

I accept that you are talking of some years ago but I worry about the incidence of this sort of behaviour nowadays. We hope for acceptance of our outerwear and gender presentation and some older people might have difficulties with this. Inflicting our underwear on the public makes it more difficult for people already having problems with us especially when the wearer is getting some sort of thrill out of reactions to their underwear. We need friends and allies out there not to make people think we are even odder than they had already believed. Getting thrills from the reactions of others is going into questionable territory. No one should see our underwear except consenting adults including people such as bra fitters. I am not talking about occasional accidental flashes of bra straps here but of deliberate exposure of underwear to get a reaction. Other people are important too. Why if people want to emulate women must they resort to behaviour no GG would contemplate? I am not attacking the OP here but a wider audience of a very few crossdressers who get their kicks at the expense of others. If we want others to treat us with respect then we must treat them with respect first and not regard them as thrill fodder. The most extreme example I have encountered was a man in Edinburgh who would target lone female shop assistants, try on clothes in the changing room, and then resort to behaviour that could have led to his arrest and probably should have. The shop owner who told me about this had been traumatised by the experience and from that point refused to allow any more men to try things on. This guy is an abuser and makes life difficult for all crossdressers and of course his poor victims. Crossdressing should not have victims.

Sorry, not for me either. Even today I had my bra and panties on and 46 other layers because it is cold and snowing here and I was still paranoid that my bra straps would show through for the entire world to see. But nothing wrong with whatever you want to do, more power to you.

While I don't agree with exabitiln,.we do have members who go out when there is no way that they pass. Maybe I'm as guilty, there was a time when fully dressed I did pass and wanted just enough lingerie to look sexy . Today I wear women's clothes including bras while not trying to expose or hide that much. Am I bad? I dress as women in my world do. I'm not the extreme in shape or dress.

No, i prefer to keep my underdressing discreet and modest. The last thing i want is extra attention from other people.

This. Although Voyeurism or Exhibitionism might have been tolerated a generation or two ago, these behaviors are punishable by fines, jail or both. Best to not involve others with your fetishes.

That said, I think you really wouldn't go out and expose your intimate apparel to others for kicks. A lot of people use this forum as an outlet for fantasies, as they should. Better to type it out in here than actually behave like that in public!

    Edited to add:
I skimmed through your post quickly before I responded, but a deeper read revealed that you're only talking about exposing a bra strap or a garter. That's pretty harmless. But what's not so harmless is the motive behind it. If I saw a crossdresser in a mall getting kicks over "innocently" showing me a bra strap, or bending over so I could "glimpse" some underwear, I would think it creepy. I don't like to be involved in any stranger's kinks. It violates boundaries.

I'm willing to believe that, given I was a teenager many many moons ago, we all do things that due to naivety now makes us wonder just what the hell were we thinking back then.

Teenage boys are filled with hormones and a head full of sexual fantasy. This makes them both volatile and stupid in equal measure. Add lack of life experience and all sorts of actions take place.

Scroll forward to calmer times then such behaviour takes on a totally different hue. Wanting to show off underwear to provoke a response does take it into the realms of fetish behaviour. "Your old enough to know better" as my mom would say.

I think I need to say this:

What I got from the OP was that he was UNDERdressing in those things and hoping that GG's would notice the bumps, bulges, or outlines of what was being worn underneath.

I didn't see anything about outright exhibitionism in the post.

OR - did I miss something?

Not everyone here wants to emulate women beyond crossdressing.

Have to agree with SaraLin, nothing about actually exposing under things, just the fact they were visible under outer clothing. Probably a harmless activity the way described. Sherrii.

I underdress myself... yesterday was panties, A cup bra and feminine cut jeans. To show, get noticed? Nope, just because I enjoy the feel of panties and bras.

I checked the OP's age....70 years old. That makes her just about my age...72. If I were to go to a mall (none in NYC/Queens back in the 1960's) and girls were to see me under dressing by revealing a bra strap or showing the outline of a garter tabs they would laugh their collective heads off. Gays, lesbians and cross dressing men were not accepted back then. Maybe these days intentionally revealing you're under dressing may attract and interested female. I never under dressed until I started reading of such exploits on this forum. The women I know do not intentionally exhibit their underwear in public. I don't know any women who would wear a bright pastel panty under semi sheer outerwear. When I wear a panty under my jeans I wear either black or white.

I underdress when I go shopping for womans things
I wear my bra and forms under a loos fitting sweater or jacket.
not that I want to show off but rather to feel good and be able to
get a good fit in a store. When in the store I really dont care who
sees me and the sales people really dont care and overlook my underwear
so that they can make a sale

Apparently u did, Saralin. The reason most T's underdress is they don't wish others to know they dress. If they wanted to be out? They'd go out completely or partially crossdressed. Not hiding, or making a game of dressing.

Wanting "women" to "notice" your bra, undies, or straps rings of creepy exhibitionism to me. Much as Reine posted above!

Back in the 50s until the 80s when women wore slips, it was very common for women/girls to pull their skirt up so as to show a few inches of lace from their slip hem. The reason being that it helped to keep the dress from stretching at the hips and knees. Guys liked the tease and girls practiced sitting on the car seat and swinging into the car.

If a woman was driving they would pull their dress/skirt up to provide room to use the brake and gas peddle. When skirts got short the practice went away.

I didn't read your post correctly the first time around, so my response might seem off topic. I don't dress to put myself on display for the purpose of eliciting comments. I dress solely to please myself without regard for the reactions, positive negative. However, I'm going to leave it in as I originally wrote it.

On a few occasions, I have been stopped in the mall by women who.told me I looked beautiful. This is without my trying to pass. I am typically wearing a skirt (3" above my knees) wedges, top, cardigan and a purse. No wig, makeup, or breastforms, so I'm absolutely, unmistakably, a MIAD.

From the start, I have always felt I would be more successful and presentable in my presentation if I just forget trying to pass as a woman. I instinctively feel that with my particular size and shape, I would look like a sad, tragic joke if I tried to pass. So I just embrace who I am. But deep in my heart, I am envious of those who can pass convincingly.

Sorry, but I was NOT showing my "underwear" to anyone! I was wondering IF Bra Straps, or Garter Tabs would be NOTICED under my male clothes because I know that they can be seen when Women wear them.

I am NOT an exhibitionist and would never be a "person that goes around showing my underwear to strangers!"

SaraLin---------Thank you----No exhibitionism Ever intended. I know, when women are dressed with NO intentions of exhibiting their under, a BRA Strap CAN be NOTICED.
Not with the intent to show off their underwear----OR is it?

NOT TRUE----No more than you enjoy exposing yourself as woman with shaved legs to be seen by all. I bet when you wear a cute white blouse while wearing jeans your Bra or Cami will show through
