Went to a strip bar while dressed

First off, I like to dress but without a wig or any make up. Basically, I love the way the clothes feel and make me feel.

It was a Sunday, late morning, and I was dressed to go shopping to a local thrift store, where I have been shopping for female clothes before dressed in female clothes. I was wearing my flats, jean mini skirt, and pull over shirt.

On the way to the store, I drove by a local strip bar. I had been to this bar before a couple of times dressed as a guy and had talked with the dancers about their outfits and how I wished I could get away with wearing something that small. I told the dancers about my crossdressing and how it would be fun to come to the bar dressed. They were only encouraging. Anyways, I know where the workers park and where the customers park (different sections of the parking lot). There were no cars in the customer section, so since I have always wanted to go in dressed, I called the bar and asked if it would be OK. The manager said, 'if you want to wear a skirt, that's fine with me'.

I quickly made my way to the bar, parked, and quickly walked in. When I opened the door to walk in, the dancers and the manager/DJ were standing together and all looked me over. The manager asked if I were the guy who just called and I said yes. He asked to look at my ID and then pat me down for any weapons (same has had been done on other visits to the bar). Luckily, one of the dancers was one of the girls I had spoken with before and she recognized me. We sat for a while just talking like a couple of girls. It was wonderful. The other dancers were friendly as well, complimenting me on my outfit and giving my some suggestions on where I could get more outfits. Since it was just me in the bar, the music was turned down and the dancers were just sitting and talking with each other. The place was empty except for me and the workers. It was perfect.

One of the dancers did make a comment about me wearing my skirt like a girl. When I looked at her funny, she said I needed to learn how to sit more like a lady. Again, I looked at her funny, I thought I was doing alright. Then she leaned over and whispered, if your going to wear your skirt without panties, when you are in the process of sitting down, you need to be more ladylike and not show your parts. I guess when I sat down, before I crossed my legs, things were visible. So, the dancer who made the comment and the dancer I was sitting with gave me sitting lessons.

But the best part was when I was leaving. All of the girls said good-bye honey and a couple even gave me a hug of encouragement. It made me feel great!!!

    Jennifer,

So glad things went well for you. Sounds like you've made some new friends.

It may be prudent to not go "commando" re the underwear dept. especially if you're going to wear short skirts. Bend over in a store and show your a little too much and you could be accused of being a flasher especially if there are parents with kids.
Who dares wears Get in, get out without being noticed

    Congratulations.

It must have been a change from going naked.

Jennifer, As long as no one else was there it would be OK. In my experience, strip bars are when guys tend to be at their most masculine and drunk and it could go badly with other patrons.
Please call me Jamie, I always_have crossdressed, I always will, "alwayshave".

I was once kicked out of a topless bar. It was Billys Topless in NYC. Me and two other punks were too early for going to a show so we stopped off at Billies to waste time. The place was filled with business type guys coming from work. I was the only girl in the crowd. The business guys studied the dancers as if they were at an art museum. We did not. We were rowdy and I insulted one of the dancers and the bouncer told us to leave. It was a very boring place, the dancers looked very bored too. The business men looked bored as well.

I'd have to agree, Amelie. The few strip bars I have been in seemed like the saddest, dreariest places on earth.

I suppose if you want someone to socialize with, dancers are kind of the ultimate “customer service specialists”. Just don’t get too attached. It’s great that they were friendly (it’s kinda their job), but remember, they’re ultimately there to make a buck, not a friend.

Kind of a side note, but I get a kick out of guys that hang out at strip bars and sit and tip the dancers. A bunch of us went to a local strip club for one of the guys birthdays and I noticed an acquaintance tossing out dollar bills like he was on a mission to rid the world of them. I mentioned it too him and he said, "but the girls just love me, so I tip them well!" I tried to explain that they love him because he tips so well, but of course, that wasn't it at all! I bet he tossed out well over $200 in tips. He would sit or stand by the stage and continually toss out dollar bills. Of course the dancers would come over to him when they got off stage and he would go in the back for a private dance, another $20+ down the drain! I asked him if any of the dancers ever went with him after hours, out to eat, or back to a motel, nope!

I felt sorry for the guy. I know he was pretty much broke, but he was at the club 3-4 times a month tossing good money away!

Nothing promises more and delivers less than a strip joint.

I guess if you have a nagging wife that looks like Broomhilda the witch a strip club might be a place to blow off steam.
Because the girls love him lol thats a good one. All they see is a fool and his money.

Going shopping in a denim mini skirt without panties is a definite No-No.
Strip clubs can be fun but be realistic.
Although I did date a stripper I met at a club, I wouldn't recommend it.
Have been to a couple crossdressed, no issues and got hit on several times.

Regardless of why you went to or how you were dressed I have to ask this one question?

    Did you tip the dancers?

If you spent any time other that watching from the back you should tip the dancers, same goes for Drag Queens if you go to a Drag Show. As most dancers and Drag Queens do not get paid by the club, they work solely for tips.

So don't be a jerk and waste their time chatting them up or otherwise demanding their attention unless you are prepared to tip them.

Why would one even entertain the thought of going commando wearing a mini skirt?

To be honest, a place where everyone has to be patted down for weapons doesn't sound like the best place to go in a skirt. Or in pants for that matter.

Stopping at the strip club was not on the agenda, but when I drove by and saw there were no customers, I thought what the heck....

I realize after this outing, with mini skirts panties are a requirement for me. Can take the wife out commando, but a requirement for me.

The girls were wonderful and like Micki said, strippers are the intimate in customer service providers.

My plan was no matter when another customer showed up, that would signal my time to leave was then. But when my little voice it was time to leave, I called it an adventure and took my leave.

Thank you for all who have commented. I have to say it was an adventure and everything you said has been taken to heart.
