Songs That Make You Want To Crossdress

Hi all, just wondering if there are any songs that make you want to crossdress?. For me, everytime I hear a song from the mid 1960s, it makes me want to get into a miniskirt.

    Wish it were that simple...lol.
I really don't need a song or a scent or a sight to propel me. I'm the object in motion that tends to stay in motion...

    Only songs with pictures.

Some folks call them movies, videos, live performances, or TV!
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!

This song makes me think about crossdressing. It is not a "trigger" to want to do it. I just think about it.

My desire is to create an illusion that is a compliment to all women.
It is meant to uphold and celebrate their presence and beauty.

I had to remove my Bowie song , Rebel, from my playlist because I was thinking my wife would think that I was thinking about cross dressing. Haha. Of course I play that song, Crazy, by Gnarls Barkley a lot as of lately.

Wow! This thought never occurred to me. Although I don't have answers now I suppose something that's light and bubbly would do it for me. I guess I have some homework to do tonight

Often, something from the disco era, when when the music makes me remember all those sexy, hot dresses the girls wore. Cerrone's Paradise, for example: https://youtu.be/1HmNZMySM58?t=75

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.

I'm a musician and even thought I find a lot of songs with a lyric that's appealing about crossdressing but never something that get me into dressing.
In a trans now, living as what I am and my experience about dressing is just one expression of what we are. If you find several or many things to invite you to dress, I would say you are trans too but don't know it and soon or later it won't be the song, rhythm or whatever that will push you to dress more and more....you need to express your real you...

How about "Lola" or "Take a walk on the wild side"?

Or, this might sound odd, but not to me. My mind races when I hear The Eagles' "Those Shoes"

"Got those pretty little straps around your ankles....." My favorite shoes all have ankle straps.

And I always smile when I'm dressed up and the radio plays Aerosmith's "Dude looks like a lady" As a MIAD, it doesn't apply to me, but I still find it inspiring.

    Although it seems to be about cutting, not cross dressing I have always been attracted to the song "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls, because of the verse;

And I don't want the world to see me
    'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

It somehow speaks to me about the dilemma of the reluctantly closeted CD.

These days i don't need to hear a song to wanna dress, it is just my usual instinct. However, there are songs i reallly like coz they can be thought of as having CDer connotations.

Don't really have a song that triggers it, as it is becoming more a part of my identity. However, there is this one Taylor Swift song " Style" that makes me want to wear a skirt

And I got that good girl faith and a tight little skirt"

I had to go listen to that one; incredible song. It's here for any one who wants to listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNO6yd66PpA

But another, similar, is Billy Joel's, 'The Stranger'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4_3xnnFCzg

Well, we all have a face
    That we hide away forever
    And we take them out
And show ourselves when everyone has gone
Some are satin, some are steel
Some are silk and some are leather
They're the faces of a stranger
But we love to try them on

I know Ill get grief but here goes........When I am going out dressed for a night of dancing I ALWAYS put on......."hate to say it"......Taylor Swift. Really gets me into a partying/dancing mood. Try listening to "Holy Ground" and tell me you don't want to put on 4" heels and go out dancing.......LOL

I was going to post, but as one should, I was reading each response first. When I read this one from Suzanne I thought, "Yep, those were the songs I was going to post".

    Anything by Barry White?

Closeted for 45 years, so please take any advice I might offer with a massive dose of reality.

As I've said before "La Villa Strangiato" - Rush.

    Makes a great crossdressing song.

Well there aren't really that many songs that could be twisted into being about crossdressing. My songs are more about being a woman than just dressing like one.

Funny part is I never see anyone bring up this one

Hmm that one throws me, the only part I can think of that would trigger anything is rather derogatory...

    MIFLAW is a bit . . .
    . . .

Anyway, very next-level with Iris! Songs don't make me want to dress either, but a pertinent track for me is "Salva Mea" by Faithless.

Now, everyone talks about "Insomnia". For sure, it's good. It certainly gets all the plaudits and the air-time, and it can be pertinent too, but I think Salva Mea is their best work:

I take a look at the world behind these eyes,
    Every nook, every cranny, reorganize.
Realize my face don't fit the way I feel.
    What's real?
I need a mirror to check my face is in place,
In case of upheaval, fundamental movement below,
What's really going on I want to know,
But yo, it don't show on the outside,
    so slide.

Just below my skin I'm screaming.

I need a mirror for my spirit,
    Yeah, can you hear it?
When I get deep, want to hear myself sleep,
Not drowning, tumbling around and around in the voices
Like a crowd in my head so loud,
I wonder what it's like to be dead,
I hope it's quiet, noise in my head like a riot,
Any remedy you have for me,
    I'll try it.

Just below my skin I'm screaming.

I'm going deep, so deep that I can't sleep.
The pills ain't cheap and the bills are steep.
So I lick a fifth of booze and a spliff,
    ( <-- but not this line ).
    Try to snooze
But whose dream am I in? This is win or lose.
Put down the drink. Try not to think.
Let it go, fundamental movement below
    And yo, reality is dreaming
Just below my skin I'm screaming...

The song, "She's got legs." I feel like putting on pantyhose and heels, bra and a dress, and showing off my legs.
