It was about 25 years ago when I first fulfilled a lifelong dream and experienced my first makeover. It was with Angel at the Emerald Fantasy in Seattle. (I understand that she has since sold the business.) I spent four hours- plus with Angel including trying on a variety of outfits and dresses on her studio, wearing silicone forms for the first time, going shopping at a Penny?s in a mall, and out to dinner. At dinner I was bubbling with joy and we engaged in the most open conversation I?d ever had with anyone about gender. When I told her that I was ?just a crossdresser,? she smiled, gave a little laugh, and said, ?Sure, honey.? She introduced me (at that dinner) to the concept of a transgender continuum. She sure got me thinking...and I now realize that I am, of course (non-transitioning) trans. I will NEVER forget that evening! Nancy
