I would say somewhere between 4 and 5.
On this scale a level 2 since I don't do makeup, no shaving beyond the face, no wigs but I did grow out my hair, no fake body parts, no tucking, no hormones, no medical procedures.
But I dress maybe 90% of the time and go out regularly dressed, out at work, out to my friends and family, etc. But for me CDing is mostly about the clothes because that is the part I like, I have no desire to emulate a woman.

Thanks for starting this poll -- it is interesting to see how people feel about their interest level. I haven't tried to see if there is an average or median (okay, I might be a "5" on the nerd scale), but I am a 4-5.

One dimension not explored here is, How Often? I am only a level 3 by your scale, but I am in this state nearly all the time, the only exceptions being for work and out in public with my wife.

I will agree with the others regarding 6 and 7 as not being part of the continuum with one to five...
But using your 1 to 5 scale, I'm a 3.5. Instead of breast forms, I wear padded bras, but no hip padding or the like.
I am definitely a 5..... Yes, I tuck. LOL I go ALL out when I dress.
Wigs, makeup, panties, pantyhose, bra, breast forms, dresses, skirts, blouses, leggings, jeggings, women's shorts and of course..... Shoes.

It is either one extreme or the other for me. Some days I can be a zero, but if Heather comes out to play, she isn?t satisfied until I?ve gone all out - I usually look like I?m going for a night on the town when I?m done, so a 5 on that score.
