Great song Davina but they don't play it much anymore! I love the song To Sir with Love!
I feel like a woman
Lola
Walk on the wild side
I'm so pretty
Hi, I'm Steffi and I'm a crossdresser... And I accept and celebrate both sides of me. Or, maybe I'm gender fluid.
Steffi, Hold on, you cannot attempt to corner the market on girly songs. I have to say I do like your picks.
Crissy
Feel Like a Woman by Shania Twain.
Please call me Jamie, I always_have crossdressed, I always will, "alwayshave".
Man! I Feel Like a Woman -- Shania Twain.
That's my first choice of girly songs.
(Ironic how as I post this, I'm rockin' out to Godsmack... intersex I guess...)

Girly Songs... It's kinda interesting how a benign question like this can put some off kilter. My wife finds it kinda funny that I like certain songs, ones that she feels "masculine" men wouldn't. Whenever these songs come up from my playlist while I am driving, you'll see me singing and smiling.
Quite a few Fergie songs: Big Girls Dont' Cry, L.A. LOVE, London Bridge, Glamorous, Fergalicious
Miley Cirus: Wrecking Ball, Party in the USA
P!nk: ****in Perfect, Raise Your Glass, Blow Me (One Last Kiss), this list is long....
And I love singing "Let it Go"
There are many artists and songs that many believe aren't manly enough for so-called "Masculine" men to listen to. And I have quite a few of them in my playlist.
I totally am with you. I like girly songs like Party in the USA and Call Me Maybe. If women can like heavy metal men should be able to like bubble gum pop without judgement. (insert crowd of burly men gathering around my soap box in agreement)
while it's not on my music player, how about "I feel pretty" from West Side Story?
My favorite also. When I sit down at a piano, with no particular tune in mind, I often just start playing "I Feel Pretty". It's a simple tune, and easy to play as a warm-up and it makes me smile. I've done it since I was a teenager. No one else knows that I'm wishing it were true as the words go through my mind.
I am with Steffi, I feel like a woman, Lola, Walk on the wild side
Girl pop to sing loud to: Circus by britney spears (or any britney spears really...)
Girl fantasies: When I grow up by the pussycat dolls
Accepting my femininity: Born this way by lady gaga
What do you mean by “girly” song?
My favorite girly song is Natasha Bedingfield. Pocket Full of Sunshine. The words are how I feel when I am Natasha.
Thanks to all you ladies that responded..
Micki, Bobby Sock to Stockings was a favor of mine when I first started this.... and has always been my favorite...
Kay, I hear all the time on XM radio fifties...

Songs are songs to me. I certainly don't change to liking other music just because I am wearing some fabric that's been cut in a different way, or because I've got some makeup on.
Call me a killjoy, but I just don't have that split personality. I like what I like as a man and woman.
I can't think of any songs that make me feel girly. There are some that make me wistful, like Gotta Get Over Gretta (The Nields).
But, I've always listened to a lot more female artists/bands than my guy friends - or at least that seems to be the case. I don't know if that's related to anything or if it's just coincidence.

Micki, Perhaps ?girly?, like beauty, is in the eye, or in this case the ear, of the beholder.
I am with Robbiegirl on this question, ?I Enjoy Being a Girl?, even if it is meant to poke a little fun at female behavior.
Richelle beat me
I'm just a girl by No Doubt
Born this way by Lady Gaga
Jill
I would say
I?m just a girl by No Doubt
Born this way by Lady Gaga
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper X x x
Oops sorry Daina i listen to more of the sixtys i will go down one channel more often!
When I was little my mother thought I had a good singing voice. She encouraged me to listen to To the Doris Day song "Que Sera Sera" that was popular at the time, and to sing along with it. I had learned the whole thing before I realized it was a "woman's" song.
Lately I've been listening to you tube performance of Alberta Hunter singing "My Man (is such a Handy Man)" pretty unlikely you would hear a man sing that, unless it was at a Drag show.
Wait. did I just age myself?
I think I aged myself....
ya
I did.
I am a vessel of the goddess. Let me express my calling to a feminine life through nurturing love and relatedness.
