OMG, on my way to top surgery, tomorrow!

    Oh... my... gawd...

My surgeon?s office called today. I had been scheduled for top surgery on the 24th of this month. But they had a last-minute cancellation, and wanted to know if I could get there this weekend, to have a Covid test on Sunday, and my breast augmentation surgery this coming tuesday, on November 10th! My daughter and I dropped everything, packed, and we will be on the road Saturday, for the two hour drive to Portland, for my surgery at OHSU. We will stay with a sister in law who lives close to the hospital.

Wish me luck! By Tuesday afternoon I will have natural looking 38-C breasts, at last! Took me two and a half years to get to this major step in my transition.

Ceera, congratulations and good luck with your upcoming surgery. I know that this is a major step in aligning your body to match your true self. Your happiness today will be replaced with pure joy after your surgery when “they” are real, and really yours. Happy happy joy joy.

    Best, Rhonda

Congratulations! May your journey on the road and through your surgery. Pain should not be a problem with all that modern medicine and you will be up and around sooner than you think.

Ceera, how wonderful! I totally get your exuberance -- been there. When you are healed and comfortable I hope you will treat yourself to a professional bra fitting.
No doubt you will be extra thankfull this Thanksgiving.

From all of us for when you wake up
    Hugs

Good luck and wishing a speedy recovery.....
Escapism isn't necessarily bad, but is definitely unhealthy in the long term. While helpful in the short term, things will degrade over time. At some point, the escapee will have to face the issue. Things simply blowing over isn't really going to happen in many situations.

Best of luck of course. I'm sure you will be thrilled to wake up and see your new, permanent breasts.
