How about getting a makeover at one of the specialist Transgender services? I went to one in the UK a number of times when I decided to embrace my other side rather than forever trying to repress the pink fog.
I was blown away the first time I actually saw Susan in the mirror. I didnt look like a dude in a dress at all and was far more passable and feminine than I ever would have believed possible. It gave me a good insight as to how to make my face and body work with what I got when presenting as female, as opposed to attempting to make myself look like my idea of the ideal woman if that makes sense?
I picked up a load of make-up and contouring tips along the way and was able to make a pretty good attempt at replicating the look at home too so it was all win-win and a really positive experience.

Many years on, I?ve been thinking I maybe need to go pay a visit again now that middle age is well and truly setting in, gained a few pounds and starting to look a little like mutton dressed as mutton so I feel it would be good to see what can be achieved now? I was thinking maybe do it this year but you know how it is this year?
    Maybe next year?
    Tata for now xx

My dream vision of Gwen is nothing fancy. I just want to be an average gal with a geeky streak. There is always room for improvement, and I know I'm not a great beauty, but I'm happy.

    Brandi,
I came out to my wife about 6 months after we were married. I have heard it before, we should be honest at dating but I thought perhaps being perfectly happy with my wife, I could stop. I am here to tell you that doesn't happen. Any way, my wife warmed up to the idea. She loves me still and is willing to get along with Janet. I hope your wife can understand this is just part of who you are. I try to not not push it, I was overwhelming her recently and have backed off. Best of luck. Janet

Hi everyone! It?s been a long time since I?ve posted anything, but I check the site often. I just love all of you and feel this is such a great place to be!
As for this post, I?ll be brief. My dream look is what I try to achieve every time I dress. I love to look as passable as I can, and when I do, I resemble my sisters. They?re really pretty. It?s amazing to look in the mirror and see them looking back at me! I think I do it pretty well!
Anyways, thanks again to all of you for making this a great place for me to be me!

I think I know what the OP means.

I have this ideal image of what I desire to look like the most when presenting as Kimberly Marie Cross. I made a post a few years ago where I shared that I saw the female version of me. My ideal end goal.

My inspirations are Lynda carter and Sofia Vergara, which is probably not unlike many GGs in the world, except only much less attainable for me by varying degrees and for obvious reasons LOL. All to say I am far from my dream in many ways...but that's okay! I'm less into looking exactly like them and more into trying to be as put together as they are, style-wise and so on, from my own point of entry so to speak. But if I could take a pill and have a body and face like they do, i would have some serious thinking to do!

I accept what I look like today more to reminisce of being a girl 24/7/365 during my college dazes and a year or so after I got out of the Navy.
I had the look, style, mannerism, and falsetto down to where I was accepted by anyone who met me.
Today I can go out in public and present as a big older women as that confidence never goes away but I will forever be jaded to remember how I would hear cat calls as my heels clicked down the sidewalk. I'm fine with just reminiscing and reliving those days, as this "old gal".
