    Finally told someone about me

After a lifetime of hiding my crossdressing from virtually the entire world I finally revealed this very private part of me to a close friend. I was pretty sure she would accept it as she is Bi herself and I was right.
What a weight lifted off of my shoulders. It felt great to not have that on me as I live a lie to everyone that I know and love.

I am going for a mani pedi tomorrow which I told her about including the painted toes. She asked if she could join me the next time that I go and then maybe go shopping together after. It brings me great joy that after all these years this doesnt have to be something that causes me to isolate myself from the world.

just wanted to share this as I cant shout it from the rooftop. LOL

Stef thats wonderful! I finally told me PTSD therapist at the VA and she assured me how perfectly normal I was and I felt so much better about myself. I told my then girlfriend and she loved it. She was very turned on by it and encouraged me to explore. I'm so happy for you sweetie. Enjoy your beautiful female side and love her!

It is amazing how much it helps to have someone to share with. I'm glad you now do. Enjoy your friendship and explore.

The motivation for telling others, at least for myself, seems to include a measure of relief and, I fear, perhaps also a slight bit of emotional exhibitionism. The latter aspect feels kinda creepy to me.

It does feel good to have someone else know. Whether it goes anywhere beyond that is still to be seen. I certainly didn?t tell her t show off. Just exhausted with keeping that secret.
