The other day I was at the store in my usual 'guy mode' (not anywhere near bold enough to shop dressed), and I saw a dress on the additional 40% off CLX rack that I liked. I had the cash on hand, so I discreetly went to the 'you scan' as I always do when making a feminine purchase. When I scanned it, though, the additional discount did not come up. In the past, I would either have paid the extra or cancelled rather than draw attention to a guy buying a dress. This time, I called the worker and pointed out the discrepancy. Because of the level of the discount, it took additional approval to get it. I patiently waited for it, and got my dress at the price I wanted. I really wouldn't have dared that a year ago. I wonder what that says about my attitude?
