Whenever this comes up I always point to Annabelle by Goldfrapp -

I find it absolutely beautiful (especially with the video) but I never hear anyone else’s opinion. I’d love to know what others think.

Couple of my favorites:
Garbage - Cherry Lips
Placebo - Nancy Boy
I agree.
In any event, any song abut CDing most often just reflects the stereotype CD or a drag queen.
I am into many genres of music.. classic rock, classical, jazz etc etc and, many things in between.
However, when dressed, I often like to listen to some good classical.
BTW, I am an ex musician also. Many decades ago I played bass in rock bands

A few more John Waite - Missing You, absolutely love Jennifer Rush - The Power of Love, Belinda Carlisle - Heaven on Earth, most Olivia Newton John from the 70s, the Tymes - You Little Trustmaker, Reba? Daddy's Hands, Martha & the Vandellas - Dancing in the Street, The Ad libs - The Boy from NYC, Bobby Vinton - Melody of Love etc
Not a CD song, but McCartney made a funny mistake in singing Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (switching the names) that they decided to leave in the released version:
Happy ever after in the market place
Molly lets the children lend a hand
Desmond stays at home and does his pretty face
And in the evening she's a singer with the band
When I first heard this song, I thought it was done on purpose (i.e. Desmond was a crossdresser!), so along with Sweet Loretta Martin in Get Back, I first started learning that I wasn't the only one. A lot has changed in the past 50 years, but not nearly enough.......
Epic! You're quite talented! 'Let me out...' -- I know the feeling, Johnni.

Arnold Layne by Pink Floyd. Syd Barrett was rumoured to be a crossdresser.
I still think Polythene Pam is a song about a transvestite. Yet John Lennon said it's about a GG.Desmond stays at home and does his pretty face

Have you seen Polythene Pam, she's so good looking but she looks like a man
You should see her in drag dressed in her polythene bag...
When the Beatles were young and playing in Hamburg, their friend (Astrid) hung around with transvestites. So Lennon and McCartney got to know quite a bit about the cross dressed world IMO.
"You're the only one to see the changes you take yourself through", Stevie Wonder
"You make me feel like a natural woman"
Most Girls (Hailee Steinfeld) is my morning jam.
