    First time xdressed in public

    Hey there.

Just thought I'd share my experience of my first time xdressed in public

    This happened on saturday.
It was a rainy day so i could wear a hoodie and a covid mask ,so no one can see my face. I dont have a wig and make up.

Prior to saturday no one has ever seen me xdressed.
I decided to do this after seeing alot of gay characters on local TV ,who dress like women.
I thought to myself , Look at them prancing around while I hide in the closet.
I figured due to my height 175cm and broad shoulders i would look like a feminine gay man but what the heck.

So I traveled to the library in our cbd in man mode. Figured it would be the best place to change as it would be quiet there.

Made my way to the mensroom and got inside a cubicle and changed.

I was wearing a womens top under my mens jacket and i was wearing mens jeans.
I changed from a mens jacket to a pink womens hoodie and from mens jeans to a tight womens jeans. I Kept my mens shoes.
Kept mens clothes inside a shopping bag. The hoodie plus mask will hide my face. and i also had a pink flowery umbrella.

Waited until no one was inside and left.
The first person to see me was a young lady late teens to early twenties. She looked me straight in the eyes. But didnt give a weird face or look at what im wearing. I broke eye contact and she kept walking like normal. As i walked towards the exit , library employees just carried on with their day.

Outside i walked past a large group of women 40s to 50s. They didnt stare at me or anything. This is how it went the entire time lol.
I was expecting weird faces or a reaction fron some people but it was as if i wasnt wearing anything unusual.

I went looking for a particular shop that had some S.W.A.Ged out lady gear. But I couldnt find it. Its probably gone for good after the looting and unrest we had here.

Made my way back to the library but it was closed. Now i had to change in the taxi rank restrooms. There were so many dudes in there. Now this time in the mens restroom i did get weird looks and one guy looked at what i was wearing and another had a puzzled look.
So now I am wondering if i did pass.
    I changed and went home.

Wednesday theres going to be rain again. maybe i should do this again but with a skirt and pantyhose.
    Also should i try heels?

Autogirl, I don't know how accepting CDing is in South Africa. But, be careful. Look for places where it may be more accepted, if those exist there. Even bathrooms can become dangerous and hostile places if you encounter someone who is triggered by your cross-clothes. Julie
    Inside my heart is breaking
    My make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on

Was it a good outing ? For me changing in a men’s room sounds dangerous .
Maybe scout out where you are going ahead of time.
Are there CDs groups there where you would be safe?
Thanks for sharing please be careful .

Just be carefull as another saffer, there are a lot of unaccepting males out there. Also practice in heels till your proficient and comfortable , start with block types before progressing. there is nothing more of a give away than wobling down the pavement. I presume you are from JHB there are several members from here up there.

I'm going to avoid busy bathrooms now. And stay in well crowded areas.
