Wow Kandi too cool. Look forward to seeing you. Make sure to let us know when it will be aired. And Congrats!
What an experience sister!
Dealing with all the hassles had to be just terrible so I was wondering if you got any compensation for your time?
Sounds like this is going to be Noah Baumbach's adaptation of Don DeLillo's 1985 cult classic, a novel called White Noise!
Here is an interesting read and a INSIDER SCOOP about what is going on, you can read on Literary Hub.
Now I can say I have a sister who is a actress! That's pretty cool!
Candice Coleen Kowal ....all my friends call me Candy!
Hi Kandi , That is just so totally Awesome, Good luck,
Keep us Advised, >Orchid**00**
Having my ears triple pierced is AWESOME, ~~......
I can explain it to you, But I can't comprehend it for you !
If at first you don't succeed, Then Skydiving isn't for you.
Be careful what you wish for, Once you ring a bell , you just can't Un-Ring it !! !!
Kandi, Wow, that is just so friggin cool! Congrats!

1985 women's professional and casual fashion were great. Dynasty and Dallas TV shows were in their heyday. Dresses and hose were still quite common.
Remember the little guys when you walk the Oscar Red Carpet.

Wow, you go. My sister in law is a working actress in NYC. That can be a hard life if that is your career. Good for you.
Wow that is definitely cool. Of course when it comes out and my wife ends up watching it, I will have to bite my tongue because I cannot say - oh I know who that is , without getting a bunch of follow up questions, haha.
Anyhow congratulations on landing the part. I am sure it is quite the experience.
You must be thrilled.
Sandi
Is your new avatar pic done by the movie MUA?
Cashed that check yesterday!! Now it's official, someone actually paid me to act (and take a COVID test and get a fitting)!
I'll be in a third movie coming up at the end of the month and will be auditioning for a fourth in October!

Remember this:
You do not have to be a man to love a woman, or be a woman to love women's clothes on her or yourself.

Congratulations on your new career. I never knew a real actress but I kinda do now. Just keep being your sweet normal self and don't let the movie buisness change you.
Teri Ray Rural Idaho Girl.
Kandi, I just love all the comments so far, somehow I know you will always be our Kandi!

I can only guess that in the depths of your despair in you know where you never dreamed this day was possible.
And it was even better than winning at pickleball?????

So cool I can say I know a movie star lol keep us posted on when it airs please.
A big congrats on the acting gig Kandi, no doubt you'll do well and have a ball at the same time. Btw...the new avatar is absolutely terrific. May well be one of, if not your most feminine look yet. The hair colour really suits you. Keep going and keep enjoying.

Kandi, I assume your character is a trans person. I also hope it is complimentary, and not intended to ridicule. Maybe you cannot say at this time. Julie
Inside my heart is breaking
My make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on
Julie, I am positive that Kandis role was not intended to ridicule our community or she would have never done it.

Nope! I am a woman and I am in two and soon to be three movies as a woman. It helps that I keep my yap shut. If I do nothing else, I represent! Plus I expect to be on screen for a millisecond, but I do know the central character in my scene walks right past me. Well over 50 takes tells me that.
I am even walking the runway in a week at Ohio Fashion Week's Black Tie Gala.
A fellow actress!! Love it.

Sounds like a fun gig. Because it's on Netfilx, did you have to be a SAG member? Just curious.
As of now, I am a non-union actress. we'll see where this all goes.
It's simply a hobby now. The truth of the matter is if I ever had to speak on camera, that would be the end of it!
Thank you Dee, but I must point out, you are pretty fearless about being yourself as well. As we both know, this is not complicated and it is no more risky than walking down the street in our male attire. We have taken parallel paths that seem to have intersected and that pleases me greatly!
Promise?? I'd love that!!
Believe me, once it runs (which will most likely be next year), I'll post here for sure!!
Ladies, this just proves, if I can do something like this, you can too!!
