    On a winter day

I am in Newark New Jersey USA, it?s a cold wintery day. The snow is falling, its very pretty outside all white.
There is something about this time of year. Could be I was born in January an often a snowstorm follows me
when there are important things going on in my life.

I am not from the area, I am here because on Monday January 31, 2022, I am having Gender Reassignment Surgery
at MT Sinai Hospital Jess Ting is my Doctor. I am excited and nervous at the same time. For me I waited a long time
to be the person I feel I am.

I had thought for most of my life I could be a crossdresser and be happy, but I find the transition to a woman
completes me. I know its not for everyone it?s my journey and I am blessed my family and friends are there to support me.

Its important for me to say this site has help me understand myself better and the ones who share their life here has
touch my soul. Wherever you are in your own journey we should be able to live our life the way we want.

I will add more in the coming month to share with you all.

Please keep me in your prayers.

Lease dear! I too wish you well. For me it was like a second transition, deeply gratifying and confirming. I believe that you too will experience this.

Out of surgery yesterday all is well. Heavy on the pain meds would like to sleep but the nurses keep poking me. Everyone here has been very helpful.

I wish you a speedy recovery and this message serves you well Leasa...
Escapism isn't necessarily bad, but is definitely unhealthy in the long term. While helpful in the short term, things will degrade over time. At some point, the escapee will have to face the issue. Things simply blowing over isn't really going to happen in many situations.

Leasa, you look terrific, all things considered. You photo shows a smile — in it I see a quiet satisfaction showing through the pain drugs. A heartfelt congratulations to you as you’ve achieved a new milestone on your journey. Everyone here is pulling for you and sending good thoughts and prayers your way.

    Best regards.

Hi Leasa. Just thought I would check in again and see how you are doing. Hope all is well with you. Sounds like your on the road to recovery. Must have felt great getting all the tubes out. I feel you are so brave to follow your feelings and path you chose. Blossom now like a beautiful flower and keep moving forward. After surgery you?ll may have some ups and some downs. Hang in there. You will get through it. Don?t forget, if you need someone to talk to, we are always here. Wishing you the best, Leasa. Keep us updated.

    Hi everyone

I had my second post op appointment today. I am very excited to say it went well. I am cleared to finish my rehab at home. It will be several more months to fully heal an I was told to take it very easy.
