And now for some light entertainment

This last weekend I walked past a small square where people were drawing on the ground with chalk. As I went by, a woman stopped me and said "What about you? I can see your inner artist poking out." To which I replied "I'll have you know I go to great pains to make certain nothing is poking out!" We had a laugh and the day became a little more mirthful.

Have an amusing CD related story? Let's hear it!

I'm so glad nothing was poking out. lol If you didn't see it in another thread, here goes. This past week after a round of golf, one of our foursome had gotten in his car (560SL) when I pulled up next to him in a golf cart. I said, "Wanna drag?" His reply, "No. I prefer women."

I find it surprising how many CD's don't tuck, Angela!
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!

I posted this as a thread, but here it is again:
I played in a charity golf scramble today (played decent, nice weather and a lot of fun).

On the 9th hole there is a yellow sign for the longest drive. I pick it up to move it to one of our balls. My playing partner Paul says it might be for the woman's longest drive, so I look and it says "Woman" so I put it back in the ground where I found it

Paul says to me "You're not a transvestite".

I answered, "Paul, these days you never know."

I was in a women's lingerie outlet store a few years ago shopping "en femme" and browsing through the racks when a GG came up beside me while doing the same thing. She was clearly frustrated by the whole experience, turned to me, and in the spirit of "sisterhood" commiseration muttered "If there's anything I hate more than buying shoes, it's buying bras!" I smiled back in sympathy, thinking all the while to myself "If there's anything I love MORE than buying shoes, it's buying bras." 😉

I posted about this a couple of years ago, but it is still the funniest thing that has happened I believe. I gave a couple of expensive tops away to a woman sitting next to me in my local bar hangout. When I got them out of my car and came back to the bar, she took her top off to try one on while sitting at the bar. My mouth was probably hanging open, and I looked around to see that nobody else was even paying attention that I could tell. It probably says something about people being wrapped up in what they are doing. No wonder people do not notice us when we try to blend, if they do not even notice an attractive woman just wearing a black bra at the bar. Haha. Well at least I got a kiss on the cheek out of it ; )

@Leslie: That's hysterical Too bad you didn't voice the thought. Her reaction would have been interesting to see

@Sandi: *boggle* Though, really, most bras give more coverage than your average bikini top. It's different because it's a bra, not a bikini top. It's still cloth I would be shocked too.

Ok, Sandi that story reminded me of something a little more...off colour.
Just before the Great Plague squeezed all the fun out of the planet, I was in a nightclub with a few friends. One of them, a GG, dragged me to the bathroom with her for "girl talk" and it was all fun and games until she pulled me into the stall with her - and she kept talking as she did her business. I have never felt so awkward but I can laugh about it. She, however, probably woke up the next day the with a tremendous sense of regret as we never socialised again!

A light moment of my own. Today while doing a crossword puzzle, I read the clue "CD." We all know where my mind immediately went until I looked at the puzzle and was disappointed to see it required a 4 letter answer which I determined was "disc."

Another light personal moment. As seen in my avatar, I have a new wig. I like it so much more than either of the other 2 wigs I purchased. Last night as I was taking several pictures to get a halfway decent one for my avatar, I realized 2 things. First, I've got to take these pictures during the day as we have 7 windows letting in natural sunlight that should get better quality light than we have in the room at night. That's not the light entertainment. What is, is the fact in looking at the pictures I took last night I realized my 51 year old daughter really does look a lot like me. I feel so sorry for that girl.
