    Clothing creep.

Compared to a good many here I have a modest femme wardrobe. Most of if for a long time lived in storage boxes hidden away in the garage.

Over the past two or so years, partly driven by the pandemic lockdowns, article by article, bra by knicker, more and more has found it's way indoors and into my wardrobe and drawers.

Skirts, blouses, dresses, underwear, shoes, the whole gambit is being moved across the divide.

This is partly due to one, it makes it easier to dress when time presents itself and two, I wanted to have more choice so as not to be using the same things time and time again.

So far so good but I'm realising that I need to limit just how much I migrate and start rotating things between the storage boxes and my bedroom.

I know it'd be great to have all my femme stuff readily to hand but I've just not the space for that and my drab stuff and no, ditching the dry stuff isn't an option before you say it!

Seems like you have a system in mind for rotating your stock, so to speak.

My wife rotates her clothes based on the seasons which is usually her tops. The minimal amount of dresses just hang on her side of the closet. Her undergarments are minimal and do not pose a problem. Me? Enduring "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" has left me with 22+ Xerox boxes and no ability to hang anything up in our closet. I do have a nice selection of nightgowns and panties and slips in my armoire. If my wife were to become aware of the extent of my wardrobe, she'd tell me "Stephanie, you have a problem!" Sounds like you have it under control. If anyone has an extensive wardrobe and cannot remember exactly what you own, perhaps a way to solve that issue is to photograph each garment and create a file folder. Perhaps it would help in preening out clothes that are no longer desirable.

If someone were to walk into my bedroom right now they would probably think "this lady is not very neat'.

Some of you girls are very lucky. My wife is a DADT and while she knows of Jade. There is no room in her house for Jade. So Jade lives in a rolling tool bag that I drag with me to work. Now I have vastly increased Jades wardrobe but it is left elsewhere at work. I bring the rolling bag home and it sits in the corner waiting to go back to work on Monday. Where it can join back with Jades shoe collection and various other femme wear. I wish there was another way. But when the pink fog rolls you never know what will satisfy it till you can see it touch it and feel it. Not having everything available really leads to frustrating situation.

The winter/summer changeover between storage and closet is one of my favourite moments, love the anticipation of being able to wear all the warm weather skirts and dresses. It is also a great time to thin the herd a little bit. My daughter has first dibs and she takes pretty much everything and sells online what she is not going to wear; she is the best dressed 20 year old in the city!

I can't tell if you're complaining or bragging, Helen?
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!

My male wardrobe shares mthe master closet with my wife's clothing. My dresses, bras, nighties, and stockings are hung in the guest bedroom closet. My panties and bralettes are kept in the guest bathroom and in my nightstand in the master bedroom. My forms are kept in the guest bathroom. The reason for keeping things in the guest bathroom is I prefer soaking in a tub vs. standing in a shower (which is what our master suite has). When we have company, I transfer EVERYTHING to our master bedroom, closet, and my nightstand. I've got the transfer down to a science and can get it done in about 10 minutes.
It's never too late to enjoy a happy childhood.
Live each day as though it's your last 'cause one day you'll be right.
I'm finding the more feminine side of me...and I ❤️ this adventure.
