It's hot in the UK at the moment and I'm dealing with it at home today by wearing just a loose teddy under a thin, unbuttoned blouse. No shoes. Nevertheless, as I move around the house I walk on tip-toes as if I am wearing heels (and high ones, at that). It's not really the same but still feels better than walking flat and it still encourages a one foot in front of the other gait. Does anyone else do this? Do you find yourself adopting other ladylike mannerisms when only part dressed?
