I went camping at a state park this past week. I spend almost the whole time in a skirt, skorts, or a dress. I interacted with staff, other campers and hikers, and really had no bad reactions (and actually, a lot of nice smiles from women). A great time and a pleasant experience.

My wife and I camp all the time. I would love to do that. But, she doesn't want me dressing outside the house, or to actually see me dressed either.

I have worn skirts when camping with my wife several times - no problems with any other campers or staff

I whent camping last year and spent 99% of it in a skirt or yoga pants and top. I was in a less known place and i was the only one there for most of the time. First time hiking in female attire. It felt exciting with tad bit of nervousness.

Good for you. I wish I could build up the courage to do something similar. I would stick more with the t shirt and leggings/yoga pants kind of attire. I have bought a baseball cap wig in hopes for my next trip I would find the courage to which will be near the end of October. Unfortunately the state parks around here are busy year round and there is not much space or privacy between campsites.

Glad that you had positive experiences on your camping trip. Although I have not stayed overnight at the popular state park near me, I have made several day hiking trips and had similarly pleasant experiences.

When we camp I usually wear some of my cottegecore style dresses. Big puff sleeves and florals. Some reason it just feels "right" cooking over an open fire while dressed like little house on the prarie.

Girl camping sounds like a great way to enjoy the outdoors my wife and I enjoy hiking im envious of the ladies hiking in tight leggings and skorts maybe someday I will get the opportunity.

Ive been hiking several times in a short skirt or skort and tank top over my bra. It makes the hike soooo much fun.
