+1 on this. Those are the kinds of questions asked when attempting to see what's going on. The size alone could indicate her buying you a present, but when asking about use of something to increase their size, it's kind of trying to find out what your plans are for the future.

There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.
Yep, it would be easier if not so close to 2.14. From time to time she will check to see if I have thought about transitioning. Other times she has thought bra size, i.e., cups were too big as all mine are push up bras and she never wears that style.
Wow! I am way too slow. You should just really appreciate your wife for asking!!! Just saying. I would say "Thank you for asking", not many have such an understanding wife. Or am I way off? Brenda
She could very well be thinking of getting you a bra and panty set for V day. Whatever the reason I think it sounds positive

Sounds like your wife is thinking about presents for you for Valentine's Day.
If my wife really wanted to know what size bra I wear, she would simply look at one of my bras for the size information. There is something more going on here.

You could have just said "Valentine's Day". At first, it seemed like you were alluding to a birthday or anniversary. Please don't assume everybody knows.
Glad the whole thing turned out to be a nothingburger (eventually), but you'll find you'll get better answers quicker if you provide more info upfront instead of leaving a trail of breadcrumbs for people to decypher. Heck, even your thread title is cryptic.
Please help others help you. Thank you.
