Lots of Little Girl Adult "Sissy" Dresses for sale online! HOw would your S.O. React

If you started wearing them ?

I am actually just quite curious as to who buys these, most are custom made and expensive. I had several experiences of being dressed in puffy little girls dresses by my mother and sisters growing up but have no real desire to invest in one. Most of my dressing is wearing clothes from the early 60s

I was wondering if maybe late crossdressers in life maybe wanted to go backwards and experience what they think they missed ?

From what I have read on this site most S.O.s get a giggle out of the fact we like to wear frilly babydoll nighties and lacy full slips but i do wonder how they would react seeing you dressed as a little girl maybe even playing with dolls ?

Please share Thoughts and or Experinces

    Thank You

I'm sure the wife would find it disturbing if I donned a "sissy" outfit.

I've never had the inclination to do so. The closest to that for me is the interest in being a French Maid.
    I don't wear women's clothes, I wear MY clothes !

I believe there are some on like that sort of thing. I would suggests a its a small percentage. and I am sure there will be site catering for that.

Its just not for me I don't do things just for a giggle as you put it.

What you read is not always reality. I think most SO's would be horrified at the thought of their partner dressed as a little girl.

My wife would throw in the towel if i started dressing like a little girl(which i have 100% no interest in doing so).
I only want to dress and look like the 67 year old woman i want to be.

Not interested in the slightest...like Giselle said - I just want to be the woman that I am.

Robbiegirl, like you I'm very interested in fashion choices of the 60s.

I don't know that I would be into something 'sissy' or immature. But, I've occasionally found myself drawn to something that was decidedly young. The most recent one was a pair of very hot pink pumps. Totally inappropriate for someone my age, and much more likely to be seen on a teen or early 20s at the most. But dang did I want them!

I have two goals I want to achieve with what I choose to wear.

The first goal is for when I go out en femme: to present myself in a way that doesn't stand out, but rather blends in as with any other woman in her 50s. For this, I'll select an age-appropriate outfit, be it a dress/skirt or slacks and a top.

The second goal is to have fun with my feminine clothing, to experience the sensual, even erotic, feelings that got me into crossdressing in the first place. This absolutely covers the whole range of my lingerie collection, but it also includes outfits that I could never wear successfully outside the house, a leotard, sports bra and other workout gear reserved for exercising at home, even the French maid dress that Cheryl mentioned.

That being said, the looks I fantasize about - but realistically cannot wear outside - are what gals in their late teens and 20s wear (or wore back in my day). That does fit with what you asked, Robbiegirl, about wanting to have experiences that I missed, but for me it does not go as far back as childhood.
    To each her own, though.
If only our families and friends could be as supportive as our bras!

I have several of these, one such is what you see in my avatar. I don't know whether they would be considered 'little girl' dresses, but definitely adolescent designs from another era in America. One person here termed it 'gothic lolita', such as is worn by Japanese girls in Harajuku style. The Japanese singers, such as those in AKB48, performers styles often resemble school uniforms, too, and I have a few of those as well. The ultra fem girl ones are very cute, and here are two:

    $(KGrHqJ,!nsE63V3WKcDBO+IOqjQ(Q~~60_57.jpg
Then there are the cheerleader uniforms,
Wear what makes you feel good. We only go around once in this life.
Edit; I think a lot of what I like to wear, may have been influenced by what I saw on TV when growing up. The golden age musical movies had lots of women in beautiful dresses, such as Copacabana, from 1947, which you can watch for free on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TY_tXb7JF3I

Some causes of crossdressing you've probably never even considered: My TG biography at:http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/...=1#post1490560
There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.

Don't know and don't care. I had some costumes that bought and wouldn't wear as it's not me babe. They ended up in trash bin and never missed.

My gf would either laugh or put up with the outfit because she supports me, definitely not my cup of tea. With that said it's a category that is considered a fetish and whatever floats your boat.

Escapism isn't necessarily bad, but is definitely unhealthy in the long term. While helpful in the short term, things will degrade over time. At some point, the escapee will have to face the issue. Things simply blowing over isn't really going to happen in many situations.

I personally love the ones pictured. My wife loves me looking sexy and pretty and this on occasions includes maid and petticoat outfits, it wouldn't be an everyday look and certainly wouldn't regress back as far as dolls or baby wear but pretty dresses can be very attractive and look ultra feminine and that amuses her.

The second dress that Lexi posted looks like similar designs to some of my Victorian dresses but way shorter. People think that I would have an interest in the shorter Lolita type of dress as well and have been offered many, but just not my thing and passed on the offers.

I have no desire to wear a "sissy" dress or be considered a "sissy" in any way. In my mind, I associate the term "sissy" with porn.

What I wear or wish to wear is not dictated by what my wife allows as she does not allow me to dress in her presence (although she knows that I do on my own), and she is okay with my wearing feminine underwear around her which I do every day. Although I have no desire to dress as a girl of any age, I do love frilly outfits: bows, lace, chiffon, etc. I do not take offense to the term sissy since I do not regard it as (in the trans community) as meaning something derogatory or pornographic, but rather someone who likes a certain extremely exaggerated feminine presentation. I would say that, for me, this is one of the many personas that I desire (and imagine in my fantasy life). Others include the professional woman look and the fifties housewife.

Since I do not “get to” very often fully dress, and I actually have a very limited wardrobe of femme clothing, a lot of my CD world is in my fantasy life — and does include window shopping those internet sites that sell such so-called sissy dresses.

As I have reported on this forum in the past, I do many household chores while wearing a very feminine apron, and I defer to my wife’s authority in our home. Some would consider these behaviors sissy. I embrace them as they bring me joy.

You can call me a sissy if you want. I love pretty things, floral prints, lace, bows, petticoats, nylon, high heels, etc. Nancy

Is it "sissy" to like and wear French maid costumes? I love em. I have two that I wear now and then. I can even get my wife to put one on. That's another story. I would like a Wonder Woman costume. I do have a dress from Torrid that has the WW style print on it and I have gold bracelets and matching belt with lasso. ah...Linda Carter. I don't go cleaning the house or anything special in the maid costume it's just that one thing when I see them, I have got to pause and admire.

Yes, Margaret, it is sissy to love, have, and wear French maids outfits. Embrace it. There is nothing wrong with liking this style. I love it, too (amongst many others). Do not buy into the stereotype that there is something wrong with being sissy. There is not!

Yep. Count me in although the question is how my SO would react. She would hate it. She accepts but hates me dressing as it is. But for me I'm there with bells on. To me dressing is all about expressing yourself and trying new pretty things. I'd love to wear a dress like the ones pictured for a photo shoot or just for the fun of it, a French maid outfit I would wear, would also clean the house etc whilst wearing it. If that makes me a sissy then so be it. Although I don't particularly like the term. As for a fetish. Lots of things are a fetish on this site they don't have to be a sexual thing a Lolita dress is a Lolita dress it does have to mean sex. Just like dressing as woman does not make us sexually attracted to guys. I have a fetish for thigh high stockings and high heels (I do associate these items with porn as well as not porn. We all like our SO to wear them for sex or even wear them ourselves) Some have a fetish about breast forms. They don't rock my boat but each to their own. But to say that sissy is porn and only porn is wrong and also to say that a Fetish should not be on this site is a bit negative to being accepting what other people believe to be just Crossdressing, which I understand is against site rules.

I crossdress to explore my feminine side, escapism, to be relaxed and comfortable.

But most of all I do it for fun.

I think my wife, if she was more than tolerant of my dressing, would throw me into the "pervert" category if I were to dress as a little girl; in need of some serious therapy. I have no interest in dressing as a little girl of the 1950's. I was never dressed by my mother or playmates. I think my choice of women's attire has been in sync with the aging process. The French Maid outfit would have been appealing when I was that tall blond (6') of the 1970's.

Lacy full slips? I think if women were to watch Elizabeth Taylor in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" there would be a sudden demand for lacy white slips.

My Ex went ballistic when it was just panties and stockings. I don't even want to think hat she would have done it it involved "sissy" dresses like those.

HOWEVER... If I could get away with wearing them and not look like I belonged in a carnival sideshow, I would love it.

I've been around here just about as long as you and my read is the opposite. I'd say most wives/SOs/women don't get a giggle out of our crossdressing desires, particularly if they know we're a crossdresser. In my situation, my wife tolerates my occasional dressing sessions, but the closer mine get to bedroom attire the less she likes it. Dressing in bed is strictly verboten.

Thanks for your response Taylor ! Well in my case my dressing is very random and her seeing me in anything is about a once a year occurence. She giggles because she does not like frilly lingerie and thinks it makes women look silly and weak ! She gets a giggle anytime she sees me or men in dresses on TV !

I would love to try one as a costume. For 6ears now I have had an idea for a Halloween costume.. Wind up doll. To do it properly the dress w9uld have to be stocking pink with ribbons and bows all over it. I would want people who walked past me to go into a hyperglycemic coma due to an overload of sweetness. I have a battery operated key for my back, now to just pull the trigger on the rest.

I?d love to try some of those sissy outfits on as they do look cute, but I don?t think I?d really want to own them. I tried some sissy skirted panties once and they were cute but I much prefer being in actual women?s clothes. My wife is totally cool with my crosdressing as it is.
