Did you ever put on something So Girlie that you got a bit of a laugh out of it

I have a good sense of humor when it comes to crossdressing so am always curious how I might look and feel in a particular item.

For me it was a pink nylon babydoll nightie from the late 60s with several layers puffy material. It even had silky granny panties with ruffles on the butt. LOL It felt amazing and so girly but was so frilly that I thought it was more comical than real. There is no possible way I could sleep in it !

I still have a square Dance Dress with petticoats on my bucket list but can't bring myself to buy one just for a quick thrill !

But, from your earlier posts I have feeling you really mean the thrill of wearing such outfits, not how funny u look in them!

I get no thrills from dressing funny. I do it just to for the heck of it!

I have not. I do not tend to purchase clothes that I cannot wear outside the home. That being said, I do have a silky nightgown that does not get enough use.

Maybe a Square Dance outfit would be fun.

Fortunately, I am not a hairy beast. My genetic profile has left me with no hair follicles on my thighs and calves and underarms and sparse on my chest. The hair I have left is fine and light. Donning a wig any of the fifty plus nightgowns I have would not produce laughter, although I think my wife would roll on the floor and split her gut with laughter. Anyway, the best I can come up with as far as "girlie" is probably more in the realm of "womanly." The best or worst, depending how it may be viewed is a combination of a long line bra and open bottom girdle with traditional stockings attached. That combination really does not slim down that bump at the mid section. It's no wonder women have tossed all those girdles in the garbage.

My biggest, maybe the only real unfulfilled ambition dresswise is to wear a wedding dress.

Other than that, most clothes I buy are generally intended to be worn in public, so it's never for a laugh, just the joy of being dressed.

I do have a fancy frock or three that aren't exacly streetwear, but would work well in the right venue.

The only silly thing I can think of was one time I wore a "Boy George" style hat which at the time I thought was cool. I had a mannequin for my sewing projects and that's where the hat sat for the next few years.

I have more than a few tutu’s that I wear with 60 denier thigh highs. Looking back at some of those pictures puts a smile on my face. Dang, now I want to go get them out!!

I have not found anything too girly that I would not wear, yet. Double I ever will. Actually I feels it?s the other end of the spectrum, not girly enough or female clothing that?s too masculine. Aka, womens jeans! Lol.

My greatest joy as a CD was being welcomed in a Bridal Salon. The owner was tickled that I wanted to wear a Bridal. She dressed me in several gorgeous gowns. I strolled around in the store and she even escorted me for a walk outside in front for the world to see. It was magical. I stood in front of the huge mirror and actually cried. There is no other feeling in the world. I?d love to be a bride in a huge wedding.

Im guilty of being a girly girl and have worn a few outfits outfits that made me laugh. One of my favorite giggle at myself outings i was wearing a black faux leather pleated bell style mini skirt with a white petticoat black stockings and 3? heel black leather boots with a cute lacy top this outfit also caught the attention of 4 female flight attendants waiting in the hotel lobby for their ride as I walked by they all giggled and smiled at me! All I could do was smile back and keep on walking.

I have yet to come across anything that is too girlie for this gal! Can't recall ever seeing anything that I felt was too feminine for me...
I have baby dolls, petticoats, tutus, corsets, thigh highs, heels, opera gloves, you name it. And I love having the freedom to wear what I want, when I want. If it's silk, satin, lace, chiffon... it appeals to me.
Obviously I don't venture into the wild as I have no interest in scaring the general populace.
A local thrift store recently advertised wedding dresses for $10 a pop and I was there like a dirty shirt. Unfortunately there was nothing in my size as I anticipated but there were some very pretty dresses nonetheless. My thinking was that even if I was to buy one, I could have a talented seamstress add something of a panel to the back of the dress as it wouldn't have to be an exact match in either material or colour since it's only for my appreciation.
In the end, I felt that the boobs would be too close together and look a bit unbalanced, for lack of a better word...
But, I will one day own a wedding dress or ball gown. They are simply too beautiful not to...

One of my latest adventures was uber-buxom, tight star covered leotard, leather skirt with suspenders, afro wig and *ehem* lady of color makeup.

I'm back to the housewife look. At least that doesn't scare the dog.

A bit off topic, but, I have a CD/TS friend who got divorced from his first unaccepting wife and married an accepting wife. The ceremony was held facing the Potomac River with the happy couple, an officiant, and a Best Man and Maid of Honor. "He" was the one who wore the wedding dress; she didn't. I wasn't there, but saw pictures.

I also attended a Lesbian wedding where both GGs wore (different) wedding dresses.

Actually I had a mostly black off the shoulder Ball Gown. It was hard to wear. Long and many layers underneath to give the full skirt look. Lots of sequins. Hard to keep up because I do not have a natural set of D breast needed to fill it up. It tended to slide down.

Back then I had my full length of hair and I did it in an updo.

I did not leave the house with it. I had nowhere to go.

Count me in. I have two wedding dresses, yes two complete wedding dresses with slips and trains and yes they fit. Does anybody here know how hard it is to put on a wedding dress by yourself, well it can be done but it isn't easy. I also have a square dance outfit, that one made me laugh out loud. Wish I had taken pictures.

I've never laughed to myself about my various clothing items, but I often laugh about how I ended up winning the x-dress gene in the great lottery of life. My wife often laughs at my various Jasmine outfits calling them frou-frou. The latest ["What-The-Actual-@#$% ! Really? LOL!"] from her is when I was wearing this. I bought it from a burlesque performer recently.

Not so much a particular outfit, but if I put on something I think is very pretty, and take a photo posing in a very girly way ( winking, blowing kiss etc.) I feel absolutely ridiculous. I do not find that so when I see others doing it, just me. You'll never see those photos!

I was thinking about this and do remember one thing that made me giggle a bit.
Years ago, I won't say how many, there was a bit of a fad where girls were wearing stockings and heels with lace trimmed ankle socks. It seemed a bit strange, but for some reason it attracted me. I bought a pair of pink, lace top ankle socks. Of course I was in a garter belt, panties, seamed stockings before I slipped on the socks. Then I put on my sexiest stiletto pumps. I wasn't laughing but I do remember giggling and feeling strangely girlish. It wasn't a sexy feeling, more of a teen girl feeling almost like I was doing something forbidden by my parents.
I never wore them outside, but I did for my private enjoyment for quite a while. Funny, but that memory is making me giggle all over again.
