Small interactions that made my weekend. In the elevator with an older couple - he chats me up non-stop. Checking out at Trader Joes, the cashier (she) asks me if I'm going out tonight. She says I look great and gives me a big smile. In Macy's parking lot - I'm walking towards the door and a black man stops - I'm still fifteen feet away - and waits to hold the door for me and wishes me good morning. I find a purse on the hotel patio and hold it up - the woman across the way says it's hers. I bring it to her and she thanks me and we talk a bit. Life is good.
