I'll start this off, It was wearing a pushup bra. Never had an issue with them before. But did something wrong and big bruise at the V of the cups. It's slowly healing, as all bruises. Strange it was not an underwire, so I did not anticipate any issues. Wearing other styles, til heal.
What did you put on, and then have to say, augh, this does not work as well as I hoped?
I've had quite a number of "Oh sh---", moments if that's what you're asking, Donna?
But, never with a "push up bra". An item I find pointless. And, I can't recall ever having an, "opp", moment!
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.
Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!
Not attire but... Makeup. The wife's gag reflex is triggered by the idea of me wearing makeup and I've left visible (to her) residue a couple of times over the years. Those instances were not pleasant.
Now, she knows I have a small makeup stash and has mentioned that she ran across the container I keep them in. That part of my femme presentation is DADT.
One time for the 1990 support group, I attached my forms with rubber cement.
Fine until--the pain developed. I guess the rubber glue irritated my skin in a big way.

Way back in the early 2000's, I purchased a lovely lace up the back corset, hoping to 'train my waist'. However, upon lacing it up and pulling the laces in the back, it would spontaneously just 'loosen up' a bit, not giving me the desired curvy figure that I wanted. Designing a functional knotting system which would keep it from loosening, I pulled it tight, and it held just fine. I finally had the lovely feminine curvy waist that I always wanted. Except.... after a while, I had trouble breathing well enough. Oh, I tried to force myself through it, but after hours of finding myself short of breath whenever I even tried to walk, it was obvious that as I didn't have a female figure, it just wasn't going to work for me long term. Oh, I still own that corset, and it holds memories and dreams of being the pretty feminine figured person that I wanted to be, but it stops there. I no longer try to wear it, in any attempt to 'train my waist' into the girly figure that I want.
Eventually, perhaps I will give it away to someone else who wants to try it.

Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.

Hold ups, just love wearing hold ups, one day bought a different make than my usual, went out shopping, half way round one of my hold ups started to slip, well it wouldnt stay up, have you ever tried adjusting yourself in public !!, so took them off in the toilets, so lesson learned always carry a pair of tights in my bag now, so I can go to the loo in an emergency and swap over.
Definitely glue issues with forms. Great concept but execution failed.
Escapism isn't necessarily bad, but is definitely unhealthy in the long term. While helpful in the short term, things will degrade over time. At some point, the escapee will have to face the issue. Things simply blowing over isn't really going to happen in many situations.

About that. If you're not using makeup often, think about rebuying your products every year or so. Products like mascara or lipstick enter in contact with the body and will develop bacteria over time. Mascara can be especially dangerous (eyes and bacteria do not mix well).Originally Posted by Bea_

I have had a couple of pairs or shoes that have blistered the top of my toes. Funny thing is they were low heal and non-pointy.

I have punctured and blistered my breasts on a number of occasions and surprisingly they all healed pretty nicely. And a couple of times it was not accidental! Lol. But the worst thing I did was driving for 6 hours straight with a tight corset and girdle on. By the time I got to my destination my hips hurt so badly I could barely walk and my midrif was completely numb. Took the some pain killers and laying on the bed for the rest of the night to start to feel better.
This has happened to me a couple times .. love hold-ups but you have to be careful with the quality otherwise theyre around your ankles before you can say whats up

Bruised earlobes from clip-ons.
Cutting the wires on a pair of hoop earrings so I could wear them as non-pierced and having them accidentally pierce my ears.
More curling iron burns on my forehead, neck, and ears than I can count.
Taping to create cleavage an ripping skin off along with the tape.
Bad brow waxing including one where they pulled skin off under both eyebrows.
Breaking a heel completely off in a sidewalk grate.
The first time I colored my hair at home and it turned out as red as it could be.
I got my hair wrapped around a wheel on a creeper (the thing you lay on to roll underneath a car) to the point that I had to yell for help and my wife had to unwind it, which was quite a process. I thought she was going to have to cut it. My kids thought that was very funny!
The one and only time I bought a bodycon dress was a complete disaster. Some bodies are just not made for that type of garment. I looked like 200 pounds of chewed up bubble gum.
We can only achieve what we dare to reach for.
A couple years ago I bought an affordable waist cincher, the kind with the spring steel supports. Was fine until I had to wash it, and the cloth shrunk a bit. After that, the supports started to jab me, especially after wearing it for a while. Doesn't get a lot of use now.

Probably an all-in-one body shaper. Ever notice all those women wearing foundation garments in old magazine ads needed a foundation garment like they needed another hole in their head? How about seeing a stuffed pork sausage in the mirror? Yikes!
