It's hard to believe that I have been apart of this site for the past 20 years; I joined in May 2004. While I have not been as active was I once was, I do check in time to time. It is nice to see some familiar faces, and new ones. Here is to the next 20 and beyond.

Escapism isn't necessarily bad, but is definitely unhealthy in the long term. While helpful in the short term, things will degrade over time. At some point, the escapee will have to face the issue. Things simply blowing over isn't really going to happen in many situations.

I kind of wish I was a part of this website much earlier; I've dug through older posts and kind of wish I was around back then. I enjoy this place very much now, but I get the impression it was even lively in the past. Is this an accurate assessment?
