I have known for a couple of days that I might be able to get dressed and go out today. In anticipation I started planning my day. I stopped by Macy's the other day and found some pants like I had been looking for in the clearance area. I also bought a top and a dress on sale. My plan for today was to wear the pants and new top I bought.
My girl stuff is stored in my so after everybody left this morning I went and gathered what I needed for today. The new pants and top, along with the dress were stashed in my truck so a got them as well. I went and showered and shaved, put on all my undergarments, forms, hip padding, did my make up and hair. Now I'm ready to finish getting dressed. Then was when I discovered that I had picked up the wrong size pants! No way I was getting them over those girl hips! All my other options were in my shop and the neighbor next door was out in his backyard doing some work. No way I could go to the shop to get something else. Ahh, then I remembered the new dress was still in the bag from Macy's. I hadn't shaved my legs but I had some panty hose put away. So, on with the panty hose and dress. It all fit well, make a few touch ups to the hair and makeup and off I go!
I had an enjoyable day. First a quick stop at CVS for some nail polish remover. Then being a bit hungry I went to Panera and got a salad. Then it was off to JC Penney, then Kohls. I stopped and bought a few groceries on the way home. Absolutely no body had any negative reactions or dirty looks. A couple of brief interactions with the SAs but all went well.
It's nice to get out now and then...
