I am going to see if I can convince my wife to go with me. I would go alone but I do not want her to think I am on the prowl.

Sounds like a lovely time. If I weren't so far away I'd definitely give this a try.

So I mentioned to my wife that we have an event to go to at the end of September. I think I will pull this off.

She loves to get Glammed up. So we will stay overnight because it is a good 4 hours away to drive.

I will have to figure out what I will wear.

I'd been planning on visiting a T-Girl friend in Reno. Thinking about flying into SFO, driving to Sacramento for the pre-sparkle dinner, and Sparkle, and then driving to Reno.

I went to school in Palo Alto, 1979 - 1980. Drove cross country in 1979 through RNO and SAC to SFO.

It's been a long time. How'd the drive? Will it be free of snow through late September. Earlier in our cross country trip we his a real snow storm crossing the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. I seem to recall that the snow started at 7,000 feet of altitude. We decided to push on though and the snow stopped shortly after we crested.

So, it it drivable in late September?
Hi, I'm Steffi and I'm a crossdresser... And I accept and celebrate both sides of me. Or, maybe I'm gender fluid.

So sad to report. My wife had me engaged over that weekend. It was a planned cycle event that she signed up for months in advance.

If I could swear in this forum it would be around here right now .........

So, I spent the day thinking about how much fun I was missing and I was thinking what I would be wearing to the Sparkle. I know what my wife would wear. She has a fabulous gown she wore in Las Vegas last year. Everyone turned to look at her as she walked by.

I should put next years Sparkle on the calendar now.
