    Bucket list

Do you have some kind of list of things that you would like to do regarding crossdressing?
I would like to see your ideas to have some inspiration to expand my list.

Many things from my list I would like to do again obviously.
Also it's not a wishlist, so no things like "have accepting SO" or "have own warderobe instead of hidden stash".

    Here it is:
    ☑☑☑... get fuel
☑☑☑☑☑ check-in and -out of hotel
    ☑☑ see a movie
    ☑ take a taxi
☑ take a city bus (though I went just for a one stop)
    ☑☑ take a subway
☑ dine at Ikea restaurant (though I did it in the evening, when it was almost empty, so I would like to repeat it during the day)
    ☑☑☑ dine at hotel restaurant
    ☑ get dressed abroad
    ☑ visit cafe
    ☑☑ get makeup lesson
    ☑ dine at non-hotel restaurant
☐ get fuel and pay at the counter
☐ go for a walk downtown during the day
    ☐ go to a club
☐ go to a theater, opera or concert
☐ go to a mall (did once, on Saturday evening when it was packed with people heading for nearby clubs who - I had a feeling - was all looking at me. I felt bad, so doesn't count)
☐ eat at fast food restaurant
    ☐ shop at Ikea
☐ fly pretty (that has to be the main point of the list)
    ☐ take a train
    ☐ do the groceries
    ☐ shop for DIY
    ☐ shop for clothes
☐ travel for few days without male clothing
    ☐ get better with makeup
    ☐ loose some weight
    ☐ visit museum (from Helen)
☐ go to wine tasting (from Claire)
    ☐ learn voice feminization
☐ go to New Year's Eve party

I've never got a make up lesson on myself though I've watched a few on friends. Everything else, check!
Can't think of much left to challenge myself with. Maybe hanging with the car crowd. That's a line I have yet to cross.
    That and mom. 😲

The only thing on my bucket list is to see how many bars and clubs I can go to. I posted 47 of them in the places to go forum.

Don?t get me wrong , I do enjoy shopping and going to restaurants en femme, but going out on the dance floor with a group of women is a thrill on another level. That is all I plan for when it comes to outings.

It's good to set goals and feels good to achieve them. I had a bucket list once, but it was taking too long, lol. So I didn't come out of the closet, I blew the effing door off of it. One day I just said the heck with it, this is me, hello world. Friends, family, co-workers, strangers all accept me as they always have. Good luck on your journey!

I am so new to going out in public I will be using this list as a starting point to develop my own bucket list. I have started at the bottom of the list. Have lost 35# since June with 20 more before year end.
Next going to Ultra to buy makeup and instruction for application. Anybody have any suggestions on that.
Thanks for giving me something to start with on a bucket list.

Monica, quite a list! Many of mine overlap yours, but here goes; the things I'd like to do / experience as Claire:
    Fly pretty (again),
Take a long, multi-city train ride,
Attend professional sports events (baseball, basketball, and hockey),
Attend a play at a nice theater,
Take a week-long trip with no male clothes,
Spend a day at the beach in a swimsuit (although I'm well beyond bikini age),
Buy a new wig with a consultation to get one that really flatters me (or better yet style my own hair!),
Get a mani/pedi complete with fun colors,
Get a complete makeup session (again),
Attend a black tie formal dinner event,
Go on a wine tasting tour (our area has many wineries .. maybe an afternoon at 2 or 3?),
Shopping with a personal shopper who helps pick out flattering clothing styles and colors,
Dinner at an intimate restaurant with my wife

I think all but the last are possibilities.

I've done a good many from the list. Theatre and a hotel stay are two I'd like to do.

Of things to add there's visiting a museum or a historic house. We have the charities the National Trust and English Heritage in the UK which look after many old stately houses and castles. I have visited one stately house and being part of the guided group was an interesting experience. Moving around in a small group of people there's no place to hide as it were so I was a little nervous that there might be someone a little antagonistic in the group but no-one seemed to take any real notice of me. There's also formal gardens. Lovely places to stroll around and find a sunny bench to sit on, watching the world go by.

One thing I've considered but I suppose chickened out is looking around one of the many cathedrals we have dotted about. I like looking at the architecture but I'm aware my presence could offend someone deeply religious so I've stayed away so far. That's not to say I won't in the future.

    EDIT
    So looking down the list those ticked I've done;
    ☑... get fuel
    check-in and -out of hotel
    ☑ see a movie
    ☑ take a taxi
    ☑ take a city bus
    take a subway
☑ dine at Ikea restaurant well sort of if eating in M&S multiple times counts
    ☑ dine at hotel restaurant
    get dressed abroad
☑ visit cafe, you've got to eat if you're out all day
    ☑ get makeup lesson
    ☑ dine at non-hotel restaurant
☑ get fuel and pay at the counter
☑ go for a walk downtown during the day
go to a club but that's not high on my list, more curiosity
go to a theatre, opera or concert
☑ go to a mall, lost count of the number of times I've been shopping
☑ eat at fast food restaurant, eat in and drive through
fly pretty but can't see that ever happening
☑ take a train, done it many times
    ☑ do the groceries
☑ shop for DIY, going enfemme into Screwfix as well as a DIY superstores.
    ☑ shop for clothes
☑ travel for few days (7) without male clothing well apart from those items I needed to leave and return to the house in
    get better with makeup
    ☑ loose some weight
    visit museum/art gallery
    learn voice feminization

Attend an opera at all the great opera houses of the world en femme.

I’ve been to the Met many times, but never en femme.
What do I do on days when I don't crossdress? I have no idea.

There is so many things on my bucket list. but because of my inability to pass, I cant ever see them happening

Go to the National park and see the sights.
Go to the movies or the theater.
    Go out to dinner.
A day at the beach in my womens swimsuit.
Just spend an entire day out enjoying life.

my sister's reply when I told her how I prefer to dress

"Everyone has there thing, all that matters is that you are happy, love what you do and who you do it with"

losing weight is a big thing on my list - I don't feel nearly as sexy when dressed as I used to when I see myself.
Plus, I have a lot of really nice dresses/skirts that no longer fit me.

Good list. For me it would be to be a bride and walk down the aisle in a wedding dress.

I've been to a fast food place in MIAD. I promise you I was getting laughed at. Had a pretty pink and white floral mini dress with white hose. I'm older 6-4 and very broad. I make one ugly woman. I would probably laugh at me too if I saw that.

Quite a list. I removed some items that I'm not necessarily interested in, edited some others and checked those that I've done. The unchecked ones would be my bucket list. Thanks for sharing and giving me something to think about..

I've done quite a few things like makeover, mall shopping, restaurants (and plan to do so again), so my list would be of things I would like to do yet as Geena, of course.

    Go to a movie.
Go wine tasting with a sister (hint, hint, Claire)
    Go to a museum.
Take a 3-day trip w no male clothes.
    Attend the Keystone Conference.

My bucket list is short but encompassing a lot of items on everyone?s list.

I would love to go on a road trip dressed. There are 2 destination states that I would love to visit one would take at least two days to get there and the other at least four. I love to drive and would love the freedom to stop wherever I want look and explore.

I have enjoyed doing about half of the things you listed, Monika. Some hold no appeal for me, like going to a club - I'm too much of a quiet homebody.

Some of my favorites have been:
Going to the movies. This includes Barbie (wearing a pink dress) and Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.
Getting a makeover at Ulta. I got extremely lucky with that. The appointment was supposed to last about 45 minutes, but there was no one after me, so my gal happily spent more than an hour and a half teaching me so much.

Mani-pedis. Such a treat. Funny story: I had one before a long weekend out of town in February. Afterward, knowing I had to remove the fingernail polish before going back to work (at least I could keep the toenail polish for a long time), I tried to take it off myself. But my polish remover did nothing. I had to go back to the salon and ask to have it removed. I went in male mode, and the older Asian man who had done the mani-pedi at first had no idea who I was. He had to use a nail sander to take it off.

A few simple bucket list items that remain are going to the theater and going to a museum.
But I have a big one coming up. I'll be spending four days in New Orleans next month with two girlfriends. Since the weather may well be in the low 70s or even 80s during the day, I am planning on spending some time at the hotel pool in in my swimsuit (a one-piece; trust me, no one wants to see a gal my age try wearing a two-piece).
