She wears my t-shirts to bed.
She wears my jacket when she's cold.
She even wears my boxers.
But I wear her panties one time and suddenly I have "serious mental issues" and I've "overstepped my boundaries?"

Ah the old double standard !!!

I purchased a grey men?s hoodie one time on a business trip. Somewhere along the way, my wife commendeared it as hers. Lo be it if i ever wore one of her womens ones. They have a bit of a taper in the waist area. Or if I were to somehow acquire a fuschia colored one. Total double standard.
I totally agree. Women can wear jeans and a flannel shirt, but you can hear the uproar if a guy wears a skirt and blouse.

Reminds me a girl that wanted to date me but i was still unsure. We were out drinking, and she tells me she is bisexual. I was like cool so am i . She told me it is disgusting for men to be bi. I laugh it off and told her i was kidding. I never did end up dating her .
Seems like we had this conversation before. And before. And before. Women are not doing it for sexual reasons.
I use Lume deodorant. I usually get the unscented. When I went to the grocery store, they had tangerine, lavender and powder scents. I knew that tangerine and lavender wouldn't pass "the sniff test", but I thought powder would be acceptable. I only used if for a couple of days before my wife keyed in on it. Because the packaging was lavender, she concluded that it was lavender. Lavender is too girly for a man. She took it from me. I want to Target where I found and unscented scent.
Can you say, Double Standred !!
Having my ears triple pierced is AWESOME, ~~......
I can explain it to you, But I can't comprehend it for you !
If at first you don't succeed, Then Skydiving isn't for you.
Be careful what you wish for, Once you ring a bell , you just can't Un-Ring it !! !!
Rachel, Life is full of double standards.
Robbie, I love that cartoon.
Please call me Jamie, I always_have crossdressed, I always will, "alwayshave".
Some here are not dressing for sexual reasons. It's ever so much more and so very complicated. I hate these "dubble" standards. Course I must be truthful. I may be sexually motivated when wearing shiny tights and a shiny leotard. But tell me a woman isn't when she dawns her thigh highs and corsets.
Not every man who has the need or desire to wear women's clothing does it for sexual reasons. My wife, daughter and granddaughter have intentionally bought specific men's attire for functional reasons. My granddaughter use to buy jeans in a thrift store from the "young men's" section because she has no hips. She also commandeered some of my flannel shirts. The difference is whether one is trying to emulate the other sex. When it comes to sexual reasons does a woman, who we may be trying to emulate, wear lingerie/slinky nighties for sexual reasons?
Funny, just how does one have sex with clothes.
My wife has accepted the fact that I like to wear beautiful frilly dresses and panties and all that, she doesn?t wear my cloths and even when I offer her to wear one of my dresses she will not wear it
Maybe so, but I don't remember making that generalization, you did. On my end, I was just alluding to the fact that a lot of members do it for sexual reasons, by their own account. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of testimonies about it in these forums. Yes, some may not do it for sexual reasons, but still, a lot do (and a lot who don't anymore due to their age, used to, by their own account). And maybe a lot also won't admit it or simply don't talk about it.
But this said, I think you are absolutely right to call out what you consider wrong, and by that measure I'm sure you will also call out the denial and hypocrisy behind these recurring complaints about "double standards"? Since there is no reason to be shocked only when the targeted party are males at birth.
When you're rite, you're rite, Diane! The fact that many of us r occasionally turned on by dressing doesn't mean we all r.
And, that is the only reason to dress for very few of us!
But, that fact alone is the difference between us and crossdressing females. How many females get the same thrill we do from wearing men's clothing?
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.
Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!
The only thing appalling here is the level of denial .
It has to be the age or the culture they came from Diane . I see them everyday and you'll never get me to think it's not sexual.
Never.
Unless, like you said, they finally get too old.
This is one of the few places left where they can still claim that too.
Alot of them HAVE managed to convince so's who are not very worldly that it's not and I think some have to believe that themselves to make it work.
And no we are not turned on when wearing a corset or stockings ... the only thing we are hoping is that our partner is turned on.
And no I won't be arguing with any of you.
