Your survey doesnt include my circumstances ....
Second born child, to an elder sister ....
Makes me wonder if I would have turned out as I am if I hadnt had the elder sister .......

COLOR="Magenta" I'm the second male of two .My mother always wanted to have a girl when I was born and she did without knowing it .(And I'm glad she did.I'm quuite sure she knew I was using her things as a child because in those days I was an untidy little bratt . I've always thought that the fact of my mother wanting a girl had something to do with me being who I am . Do you think it's possible ?and..Pinky
Don't wait for tomorrow 'cause tomorrow never comes

What about "First born".Originally Posted by sarahjan

I was the first born, and an only child for almost 8 years. I had a female cousin that was 40 days older than me and we were raised almost as twins, always together. I can definately see that as the roots of some of my dresssing interests.

I suppose what I was really saying is that the poll only addresses MtF (as in 2nd born male, etc). I was wondering about the result from a FtM perspective - 2nd born female for instance. I guess I didn't think through my question before writing it!
There's not? I think the 'First Born' responses are substantial! But you have to concede that this poll is not a scientifically perfect research tool either - just a generic 'what if' type thing.Originally Posted by DanaJ

4 of 4 with three sisters with the youngest being 10yrs older than me..didn't stand a chance...*s*
I am an only born child - have voted for first born child - sorry there are no for one born
I'm the eldest of four boys. However I don't think it makes a difference if you have older or younger brothers or sisters or if you're an only child. I think something happened during our creation that caused whatever level of transgenderism we are at along the vast spectrum. Our environment determines how far we go with it or in other words whether or not we keep it hidden.

First of three brothers. Mother says she had three sons looking for a daughter. Oh, the the irony of that thought!

I am the third son of four for my father, but the first son of two for my mother.
Since I rarely ever saw my older half brothers, I voted that I was first born.
