I was reading and responding to the thread that asked if you like who you are. It led to other thoughts, about who we are what we are and so on. A lot of crossdressers want to be a woman or wish they were a woman. Personally, I like being a man in womens clothes. If you born female, that first time you slipped into something soft would have been nothing at all to you. Ask almost any woman, they hate wearing hosiery, they hate wearing heels. They want to wear pants and other boring clothes. I say we be glad and happy about being male. I think it's a lot better to be a guy dressed as a girl!

Good point! I've thought about that many times. When I use the old "If I could do it over" dream I always start being born male just so I could appreciate femininity as much as I do. Then I daydream about developing physically in such a way that I could easily pass as female. Take away the body hair, lessen the masculine frame, etc. But being born female I doubt I'd ever enjoy the feminine side of the world as much as I do .

I have to say that I agree with you, I am a male who likes to dress and act as a female (as often as I can). I like my male side as much as my female side. The thing I love about my femenine side is that I seem more relaxed and open. I am glad....

Well maybe but some women do feel and want to be feminine and relish in all that is female!. And this male if he were female would be one of those types of females after all why would a female really want to wear yucky male type clothing when female clothing is so very nice soft and sexy to me that's what being female is really all about. If you do want to be a masculine type female then whats the whole point in having female clohting at all. Which brings us right back as to why males are subjected to wearing boring male type clothing in the frist place why is or there not then female type clothing for males to wear and enjoy without even trying to be female then at all just to be able to wear them might become the norm Then both sexes could vbe and dres as they do see fir and that's the way as i do say it really should be. So you do see it is a viscious circle hmmm!.

I have thought about this question, too and was in fact thinking of it over my lunch break today. (I think I am feeling extra-feminine today: wearing stretch jeans with built-in panty, new white bikini undies, and a bra, which I hardly ever wear to work.) I think my dream world would be one where I could morph back and forth between a feminine figure and a male figure as the mood strikes me. I would love to experience the feeling of having my own full breasts and wider hips (not sure about the other equipment) so I could experience the joy some women seem to get just walking down the street with the breeze blowing their skirts and tops against their bodies, their hair flowing behind them. But I am pretty sure I don't want to experience that feeling everyday. There are days when I enjoy the male half of my personality. I just like to be a guy sometimes. It is a precarious balance.

Wouldn't it be fun though to wake up in the morning and choose which body -- male or female -- you were going to wear that day just like you choose which clothes -- male or female -- you are going to wear?

There are a variety of things that attract me to cross-dressing, there is the clothing itself, but also, I like the whole 'aura' of it.
I love feeling - for want of a better word - vulnerable. The whole damsel in distress concept is something I feel very appealing. I love coming online, as my personality changes.
I've thought about being with another CD, and I think that this is so that I could not only dress, but be all girly and pathetic in front of someone, someone who would understand that.
I don't think that that is something many women want from their partners (certainly not my wife anyway).

Does that make sense to anyone?

For what most have expressed, I could say Ditto.

I would love, adore being able to transform from one to the other at will or even on a day to day basis as Jenny mentioned.

I think if I could have expressed my feelings of looking more feminine when I was younger, I could have kept my body to be more "interchangeable" for a lack of a better word.

But 30 years of being male certainly didn't help the figure. I remember trying to sneak in time when I was young, where I would find my sisters skirts etc. and dress quickly before anybody would come back.

Sometimes I wonder how my life would be if I would have only come out with it then?? Alas, I am still in the closet.

I have actually come out to my wife and some of my closest friends. It's been a crazy ride but it's relatively good.

a man once said " i dont know what a woman feels like but i just like dressing like one", i guess im glad i was born a man but i really love dressing and acting feminine but not for relief of tension but to develop a different part of my complex personality.=== i know pop psychology but what can i say i just wish i would have learned to enjoy my fem self sooner i think i would have made a terrific and wicked fem entertainer lol
