    Yeh, it does make a big difference. In hot weather, when there's more sweat in 'em than skin oil, I rinse them out without soap every other washing. I think the soap may break the elastic down a bit.

    I think I'll keep that in mind when I wash my binder. Anything that'll save me from throwing tons of money around constantly is good.

    Yeah, I think the hand washing probably makes the difference - I usually machine wash and then air dry. It's not so much that they wear out, it's just that they stretch out and are useless to me after a while. I'll try hand washing to see if it helps.

    I was always scared it would mess up in the washer so I never did it that way. I would hate for them to stretch out though. Yeah...Lex...definitely go the hand wash route.
