Assuming you wear one, do you do all your make-up and dressing leaving the wig for last or do as I do and put it on before I start. I feel GG's have their hair on full time so I feel more femme having to deal with my hair through the whole process.

I put my wig on last. This way I can put foundation on my forehead, up to my natural hairline. Thus, I don't get any makeup on my wig.

I have tried doing it with my wig on, but prefer to do it without. I like having a nice clear view of what I am doing. I do put my bra and forms on before make-up, but the wig is always last.
I like wearing my wig while putting on my make up so I can see what I look like and make sure the colors are right.

I would like the feeling of putting on makeup with my wig on but it just isn't practical. A GG typically uses less foundation and can just wash the hair a little if it gets makeup on it. Maybe someday I'll use an old wig as my "makeup wig".

I have never owned a wig at all.
My natural hair is shoulder-length. Sometimes I have to move it out of the way when applying makeup.
A lot of gg's tie it up away form their face. Or wear a headband.

With me it's makeup first, then wig.
With me its the last thing I put on.
Its amazing when your in front of a mirror with your makeup on and the clothes you are going to wear and then you put your wig on and(Then all of a sudden WALA!!)you have just completed the transition and you look GREAT!

I'm like Tina, my wig is the last thing on and the first thing off (except maybe earrings). When I get dressed, it's like the crowning moment, the one item that pushes me over the threshold from man to woman.

Last thing on except for lipstick. Both for practical reasons and like others here, love that final transition point.
Don't even own a wig.
But to answer the practical part of the question, I wear a head band while getting ready. Keeps the hair out of my preparation.
In that respect, I"cheat" and put it on next to last before any jewelery and lipstick. Lipstick is always the "final touch" for me.

I put my face on, get dresseed, wig, nails and the jewerly. It is eaiser for me to get to zippers and to pull a top over without a wig.
The wig is my last but one item to go on, I leave the false nails till last.

I think if GG's could take their hair off to do their Make-up, they would because it just gets in the way, alot of GG's are going for shorter hair, hate that, love long hair, I wait till the last thing to do.
