Before... After!

OK, I've only been here a few months, but you know what? A LOT of you gals have improved SOOO much over that time. So, time to take a look back and see how much better we've gotten.

The rules of this thread are easy:

1) Post 2 pics. Post the best earliest picture you have. It should contrast with your best latest picture...

2) Post HELPFUL, CONSTRUCTIVE Criticisim on how others have improved AND how they can continue to improve their look.

The goal here is to encourage the newbies here that with practice and time, you too, can improve!

OK, here are mine..... the first is from my very first time done up head to toe, circa October 2001.

The second was taken just 3 weeks ago, early March 2005....

Hmmmm... maybe I am regressing

This is one of my better oldies and one I just took a few minutes ago. I wouldn't dare post one of my worst.

Wow, this is EXACTLY what I wanted to see!

All of you have shown improvement! And just think, with more practice we'll get even better!

What I see is improvements mostly in pose and hair. Just that feminine presentation thing. Plus, improvements in makeup and choice of clothes.

This is COOL. Really cool...

The first pic is me about 5 years ago. I had never thought of taking pics before that and this is a bit crude.

The second, ok please forgive me, I have posted various samples of it already, but it is my best photo to date I think. It was taken about a week and a half ago. I do think I have learned a bit about makeup and have more of a sense of my individual style, but I have a lot to learn.

I hope this works, I haven't tried to insert images this way before. Here goes

Oh by the way even if I do say so myself, I don't look too shabby for an old fart! Woo Hoo!

I believe you have hit on one really huge secret concerning photographing ourselves.

Makeup is fun and it really does make huge differences, but lighting lighting lighting !!

It makes so much difference.

I must say looking at everyone's pix, obviously practice makes perfect. So much difference in everyone's shots.

well this is all i have ..sorry ...but i destroyed all my pics when i was caught by wife last sept.

... howevvvvv...er ..being rescued by Kew ..i've learned a lot of make up tips ...

,on the lefty me hmmmm right now... and on the right ...bad wig no eyemakeup cept mascara...was about 1 yr ago .... hmmm maybe good thing the rest we're destroyed
