    Dressing for halloween

Well I'm sure that this has been asked many times. How many here dress for halloween? If you do do you just dress like you would any other time or do you go for a female halloween costume? This year I am planning to go as a punker girl and I was just curious how many break from their norm of dressing and go as something special.
Love like you've never been hurt,
work like you don't need the money,
and dance as if no one is watching.

    Hey Sweet Thing!
You were correct, there have been a couple of threads, but Halloween is the crossdressers 'Open Season". You can go into any store that sells ingerie, makeup, women's clothing, and ask for help, and the staff will almost certainly respond positively. IFor my part, I have been invited (challenged) to an event by my favourite lingerie store owner. I am going as Wenda. only in Super **** mode. Going for the prizes. w.

I usually try to come up with an outfit on my own. Three years ago, I went as a female Green Lantern, two years ago as a "good witch"(black dress with red butterflies w/cape), last year as the counterpart "female ghoul"(complete with grey body makeup) to my GG friend's male ghoul. This year I will be wearing a black see through spider-web gown(sort of Elvira style) with black fishnets, black boots and my long black wig. I finalized the look yesterday. It's always fun at the party at the club in any case.

Usually dress as my femme self. Last year I bought an Alice in Wonderland costume and went out as Alice. Spent more than I should have, but the better the costume, the better you'll look (IMO).

You looked like one of the Moms that were out

I will go out wearing my "normal" femme clothes. The only difference is that I feel free to go to more places in the daytime. I never would think of going to the army surplus store en femme any other time but I think I'oll make it one of my stops this year.
It takes a real man to wear a dress.

Just as fem me during the day, like most days, but at night, I'll put on a LBD and a witches hat and answer the door. Unless we get a better offer...BJ

Last year I was a nurse. Given the nature of trick or treating (being one new face in a group, dim lighting, distance, etc.) I'm certain that a lot of people thought that the I was a mom, and that the white dress, white hose & heels, med props and white heels were the costume for a mom.

This year I plan to be Wonder Woman.

Last year I wore my French maid's outfit to answer the door for the trick or treaters. I got some strange looks and giggles from some of the parents so I don't think I'll be doing it again this year or I'll be the talk of the town.

For Halloween, I dress in femme costume but not necessarily in a Halloween costume... I'm fortunate in that I've been out in the big, wide world dressed as a woman might dress - a successful business-woman straight from the office, a cute lady in casual clothes, and the lbd for some serious clubbing.

Three are occasions in a women's life where she would dress differently. I don't normally see women wearing ballgowns of an evening, and I love ballgowns, so I explore that side of my wardrobe on Halloween.

This year, I'll probably be wearing the same outfit as I did last year; a lovely, green and red gown, but I'll accessorize differently. I'll wear my longer wig, perhaps a tiara, and this time, with my wife's help, my back will be as smooth as possible and I won't have to wear a wrap to hide the hair.

If, on the other hand, I can find a good, inexpensive bridal gown, then I will wear that instead.

My other option is a red, 80s-style ballgown, but I don't have the big hair and I'm not going to buy a decent wig just for one outfit!

If everything goes right. I will be my own version of sandy from grease. A poodle skirt bobby socks a plain white shirt with pink sweater and a pink ladies jacket. I will have a blonde wig of course and a pair of saddle shoes.
just have to figure out the makeup part and I will be good to go.

My SO and I are tossing around the idea of a Halloween party here at our house. If we do, I plan on going as a beauty queen (complete with sash) in a ball gown. I'm debating on how good I want to try to look and whether to wear my good wig or not. None of my friends "know" so if I do a good enough job, I'm sure I'll be outed. I use the quotes since I've been wearing girly pants and short in front of them for years now, but nobody has said anything.

I'm getting old and wrinkled, but when I was in my 30's I did go out dressed to the 9's. I went to a private party with my first wife, complete with forms, and her wig. I looked great and I thought I would get a lot of attention. I did at first. But, I was outdone by the most outlandish costume of all. A exhabishionist came as a flasher. Raincoat and all, and noone paid any attention to me after that. DeeDee3

I won't be dressing this year for Halloween, BUT, I hope that those of you who do will put a picture of yourself in costume in the Picture Gallery, remembering no x rated photos.

I was jusyt myself last year - that punk/Goth thing sounds like it might be fun if I could find a black skirt and black top.....hmmmmm

I may wear my avatar skirt/blouse and just go out with a briefcase as a businesswoman! I want to go out in public this year though...

And it would be fun to go to work, but only if everyone was doing a costume...LOL Wouldn't that blow some minds that already "Suspect".....

And I'm not sure anyone else could either. After all, it was dark out, and I'd even shaved my legs for the occasion! Didn't get "hit on" though, guess I'm not a MILF.....
