I guess I go between 4 and 5.
But I wish I was a "1"

I'm a 1. When I shop in full drag I get asked for makeup or I'm offered a dressing room to try on stuff. Went to a woman's washroom too. Well, I'll get read if I don't use a good femme voice or if I have to talk too much. Or if they see my D.L.

There have been some limited excursions outside as I get better and gain the courage....so a #3 is definitly in its beginnings.

I'm a 1, it took years of trial and error to perfect my look, mannerisms and voice and they're still not perfect, but close enough for shopping, dinner etc. The only time I've gotten read recently was when I guy hit on me and after a few minutes of conversation he saw through me, I try to avoid those situations....

I would say I'm a 1 1/2. I do seem to pass well, I go out shopping a lot, go to movies, dinner with friends. I can only think of a couple of times I have been read. I'm am normally called Ma'am by the SA's in stores I go into.

I see myself as a 4, but my wife says that I will very soon be able to pass, so she probably sees me as a 2. However, I have never been out in public, yet. Passing, as previously discussed on this forum, is sorta, debatable. Looking like a female is one thing, acting, and sounding female, seems to me, very different. I can walk and move at times, female, but the mannerisms have to be learned over time. I seem to be spending alot more time watching women, all types, learning their hand gestures, different walks, and their interactions with people. Then there is the voice problem, that one is REALLY tough. Although I don't hear myself as all that male sounding, I'm sure I don't sound very female, even when I try. That's going to take a long time to figure out.
